Death toll from Shebekino entrance collapse rises to five

As a result of the collapse of the entrance of an apartment building in Shebekino, five people died, Belgorod Region Governor Vyacheslav Gladkov reported .

According to him, four more bodies were pulled out from under the rubble, six people were injured. Search and rescue operations have already been completed.

According to Gladkov, another victim was a woman.

"Her heart stopped several times, and doctors performed resuscitation measures. The severity of the injuries was incompatible with life," the governor said.

The entrance of a residential building in Shebekino collapsed on June 14 as a result of shelling. Ten apartments were buried under the rubble. About 300 cubic meters of construction waste were removed from the site.

As a result of the collapse of the entrance of an apartment building in Belgorod on May 12, 17 people died. The Russian Defense Ministry believes that fragments of one of the shot down Tochka-U missiles hit the building.
