Identities of militants who attacked Dagestan established

The Investigative Committee reported that they had managed to establish the identities of five killed militants who attacked a church and a synagogue in Dagestan and also fired at a traffic police post.

Kagirov, as reported by the Shot and Baza channels, was a master of sports in freestyle wrestling, an MMA fighter and competed for Khabib Nurmagomedov’s Eagles MMA club.

Another killed militant, Abdusamad Amadziev, is called Omarov's nephew by Telegram channels. Verstka writes that from 2012 to 2020, he worked for Gazprom Gas Distribution Dagestan.
