The head of Dagestan dismissed the head of the Sergokalinsky district. His sons are suspected of attacks in Makhachkala and Derbent

The head of Dagestan, Sergei Melikov, announced the dismissal of the head of the Sergokalinsky district, Magomed Omarov, whose sons are suspected of participating in a terrorist attack, TASS and RIA Novosti reported.

“I believe that the responsibility here should be complete <...> some things that can be commented on taking into account the degree of his guilt or participation in the tragedy that has occurred, I will not-this is the task of the investigating authorities. But if his participation is confirmed, then the responsibility will be complete, ”said Melikov (quote for RIA Novosti).

On the eve of Magomed Omarov, he was detained in connection with the participation of his sons in attacks in Makhachkala and Derbent, TASS reported with reference to law enforcement agencies. According to the Baza telegram channel, the sons of Omarov Osman and Adil, as well as his nephew Abdusamad Amadziev, participated in the terrorist attack.

During the interrogation of Omarov, as Baza writes, he said that for several years he knew that his sons and nephew were Wahhabis. According to Omarov, he did not communicate with his sons in recent years.

In the terrorist attack, as RIA Novosti writes , referring to law enforcement agencies, another nephew of Omarov, Ali Zarigaev, killed during a counter -terrorist operation, also participated.

• On June 23, in Derbent and Makhachkala, militants attacked two Orthodox churches, the synagogue and the post of traffic police next to another synagogue. A few hours later, another attack occurred in the village of Sergokala 80 kilometers from Derbent, where the militants attacked the car.
