In Germany, two family suspects were detained by Michael Schumacher's family

On June 19, two people were detained in the city of Gross-Gessen in Germany in Germany, who are suspected of blackmailing the family of seven-time formula-1 champion Michael Schumacher, writes Associated Press with reference to the German prosecutor's office.

The detainees are a 53-year-old man and his 30-year-old son. Both, according to the DPA German agency, are on the trial in another case. Their names in the prosecutor's office were not called.

According to the prosecutor’s office, the detainees informed the Schumacher family that they have files that close racer “would not want to publish”, and demanded several million euros. Some of these files, according to the prosecutor's office, the suspects sent the racer to the family in confirmation, but the department does not disclose the details.

Both detainees are in custody. If the wine is proved, then, according to the prosecutor, they face a fine or imprisonment for up to five years.
