On April 27, 2010, several Chinese workers from the village of Sinchua went to dine in the dining room. On that day, they were supposed to prepare the 65-year-old local resident Liuyun-a cook, settled there just three days ago-but he was not in the kitchen. The indignant workers began to look for the cooks, but he was nowhere.

Not finding him either in the dining room or nearby, one of the workers went to his house. He shouted Seyun's name several times, but no one answered him. Looking around, the worker saw the ajar door - the light was burning in the house, but there was nobody inside. Syun was a bachelor and lived alone, so the locals informed his younger brother, 46-year-old Laol about his loss.

Laol began a search in those places where his brother was most often, but could not find him. At the end of the day, he came to the police station and filed an application for the loss of his brother.

Two days later, the inhabitants of the village noticed that the light in the house of Laol did not go out, and the front door was ajar. As in the case of Suyun, the neighbors found that Laol was not at home. He always carried a mobile phone with him, but none of the neighbors could get through to him.

Initially, the investigators suggested that Xuyun left for another village to find a better job, but Laulia was missing to start a full -fledged investigation. Police from Sinchua turned to colleagues from neighboring villages for help. On May 7, 10 days after Syun, they formed an operational group that took up the search for brothers.

Strange messages

Unlike Suyun, who spent most of his time alone, Laol, who worked on the farm, was a friend of many inhabitants of the village. That is why, in search of hooks, the first thing the police studied the history of his calls first. They noticed that Laol often talked on the phone, but at one point the calls stopped abruptly. The last two calls on the day of his loss were addressed to the 40-year-old Su Hong-the managing little village clinic.

Hong lived in a small house, which previously belonged to her late parents, and raised four children. She told the police that a year ago, Suyun took five thousand yuan and another 10 thousand from his brother (which is approximately equal to 420 thousand rubles at the rate of that time) to pay for the treatment of children. According to Hong, she called Laol to return the last part of the debt. They met, Hong paid with Laol and after that she did not see him anymore.

After a conversation with Hun, the police searched the whole village and its environs. They were looking for cars registered in other regions, and other clues. The first three days of searching, the investigation did not promote until on May 10, Liu’s sister received a message from Laol: “I accidentally killed my brother. We quarreled when I said that I would go to Shandong to visit his son. I pushed him, and he hit his head on the door jamb. Then his pulse disappeared. I was scared that they would catch me and left. ”

After this message that the sister showed the police, they searched in the houses of both brothers. The forensic scientists found no traces of struggle, no fingerprints, no traces of blood on the doors. In the Laol house, investigators found three thousand yuan and his documents. They came to the conclusion that if he really wanted to hide, he would take them with him.

During the week, messages from Laol came to several more relatives, which they reported to the police. In each of them, he admitted to the murder of his brother. The police guarded that the text was written without typos and with the correct use of punctuation marks - according to loved ones to Laol, he was illiterate and could not write a text without errors on his own.

The police called his number several times, but he was inaccessible. The investigators alerted that the first message came shortly after their conversation with Lu Hong.

Secret cellar

The suspicions of the police intensified after the third brother of Liu (there were six children in the family) remembered how one day Laol was very drunk and said : “If I die, it would be the work of Lu Hong.” On May 19, investigators returned to interrogate Hong again. Initially, she was calm, but was nervous after one of the police officers asked if she had a cellar on her site.

After her arrest, investigators were looking for additional evidence and tool of crime. Having examined the cellar again, instead of weapons, they found a human skeleton. The DNA test showed that he belonged to a woman named Lee Xuein, the wife of his brother Hong, who disappeared five years before.

Unhappy marriage

Lu Hong was born in 1970 and grew up in a poor family of farmers with her younger brother and sister. After school, she entered a medical college and worked in the hospital for several years. At 24, Hong married her classmate and sacrificed her career for her family life.

Husband almost immediately changed Hong. She wanted to file for divorce, but her parents dissuaded her-at that time, in the mid-1990s, in provincial China, divorce was considered something shameful and could ruin the reputation of the family. Hong was left alone without her husband’s financial support. She was forced to return to the house of her parents in Sinchua. In the village, SU opened a small private clinic and continued to engage in medicine. In addition to their children, Hong provided parents and nephews who lived with her. The clinic brought not enough money, so Hong had to earn extra money on a farm.

In 2001, she found out that her husband started a novel and was waiting for a child from another woman. Hong was broken. She realized that her husband had finally left the family, and still filed for divorce.

The first killings

About how she began to kill, Lu Hong spoke during the first interrogation after detention. In February 2003, her own sister - Su Jing returned to Sinchua. At that time, she was married to a man named Jan Bantao. Sister Hong said that Bantao regularly beat her. Hong was incredibly angry at him and hid his sister in her house. The next morning, when Bintao came to their home to find his wife, Hong met him.

She asked Bantao to leave, but he flatly refused and in response began to threaten Hong and her family. The conflict began to flare up. At some point, Hong took a beer bottle and hit Bintao in her temple. He fell to the ground. Blood came from a broken head. After 10 minutes, Bantao died.

Hong immediately called her father and talked about what had happened. Father did not blame his daughter and call the police. Instead, he put Bintao's body in a cart, covered with weeds, doused with gasoline and burned. Hong, in turn, took the phone of the murdered one and wrote to his family that he allegedly went to another province and was not going to return until he earned enough money. This version seemed to his family so convincing that in seven years that have passed since the murder to the detention of Hong, no one has been announced about his loss.

In 2005, Hong heard from her mother that the wife of her brother - Lee Xuein - changed him and their marriage was on the verge of collapse. At this time, Hong was engaged in raising their children - they lived with her. In November, Xuin arrived at Hun's house and demanded from her 14 thousand yuan, who gave her children to raise. It was so angry that she strangled Xuein as soon as she went to bed.

After that, she wrote a letter on behalf of Xuein, which said that she allegedly left with another man. This version also did not arouse suspicion, and no one was looking for Xuein. It was her skeleton that the police found in the cellar in 2010.
