Two citizens of Kazakhstan were given 13 years in colony for sabotage
On July 1, the Moscow City Court announced a conviction against two residents of the capital - citizens of Kazakhstan Alexander Abram and Eduard Burdilov. Both of them received 13 years in prison under a criminal article on sabotage committed by a group of persons by prior conspiracy.
Abram will spend the first four years of sentence in prison, Burdilov - 5 years. The remaining part of the term convicts will serve in a penal colony of a maximum security colony, ”the correspondent of the Mediazone reports from the courtroom.
The defendants in the case were detained on June 22, 2023. Details and circumstances are not disclosed.
A collegium from the three judges of the Moscow City Court consisting of the presiding judge Sergei Podopigorov and the judges of Vereisky and Kozlov also satisfied the civil lawsuit of the Russian Railways, deciding to recover from Abram and Burdilov the damage in the amount of 387 thousand 338 rubles 74 kopecks.

After the mobilization declaration, the number of such attacks has increased many times. As a result of arson, no one died or suffered. At first, cases were considered in criminal articles on damage to other people's property and hooliganism. Later, such arson began to be classified as sabotage and terrorist attacks.
