Nizhnevartovsk: In the city, an emergency mode was introduced due to flood

Residents of Nizhnevartovsk received a newsletter of the Ministry of Emergencies with a message about the introduction of the emergency mode due to a critical rise in water into the Ob. The authorities of the region have not yet made any messages.

The water level in the Ob per day rose by 3 centimeters, reaching 981 cm and exceeded a critical level by one centimeter.

According to the Ministry of Emergencies, 2396 personal plots were flooded on the territory of the Autonomous Okrug, 666 country houses in garden partnerships in cities: Nizhnevartovsk, Langaspas, Megion, in the villages of Saranpaul Berezovsky District, Byptugol, Sosnin of the Nizhnevartovsk district. Residents of flooded villages bring food and medication.

Despite the fact that the authorities did not officially report the introduction of the emergency mode, he is already valid because the project was prepared in advance. This was told by the director of the Department of Citizens and Emergencies of the City Hall of Nizhnevartovsk Vadim Tatarenkov. According to him, the project was prepared on Friday, June 28, and it will be signed if the water in the Ob exceeds at least by a centimeter a critical level, which is 980 cm.
