
The court in St. Petersburg freed from real imprisonment two former employees of the Russian Guard Alexander Boykov and Nikita Lavrentiev, who extorted money from the city residents. This was reported by the press service of the court.
Police Boykov and Lavrentiev in 2019 illegally detained a schoolboy who was put in a car and began to threaten him. They promised to deliver him to a medical examination, which will show the state of intoxication. To prevent this from happening, the police demanded 300 thousand rubles. The schoolboy agreed to transfer 5 thousand rubles. After that, the Rosgvardists drew up a protocol for a "rally" article on a schoolchild, for which he was fined 500 rubles.
According to the investigation, the police extorted money from the city residents at least five more times - from 10 to 140 thousand rubles. They also kept two bundles with narcotic substance in the car.
The court sentenced the colony to 4 years old, but freed from real imprisonment, setting them to be in a pre -trial detention center, under house arrest and prohibiting certain actions. The appointed fine of 3.5 million rubles was reduced to 1.2 million. They were deprived of titles.
