Chinese and Russian companies are developing and testing a shock drone that looks like the Iranian UAV Shahed. This is written by Bloomberg.
According to the publication, last year, Chinese and Russian companies agreed on cooperation to create an analogue of the Iranian drone of Shahed, which is actively used in the war against Ukraine.
The companies have already begun development and testing of their version of the shock drone, which they plan to send to Russia. But these drones have not yet been used in Ukraine, Bloomberg told Chinese officials on anonymity.
Bloomberg sources did not name the type of drone that Chinese and Russian companies work on. At the same time, Chinese defense sites and some media reported that we are talking about developing the Sunflower 200 strike drone, which has the same characteristics as Iranian Shahed 136.
Bloomberg notes that the provision of Russia analogue of the shaped drone will mean deepening the support of Moscow by Beijing, despite the warnings of the United States and their allies. However, officials in the United States say that China is still refraining from the direct provision of Russia's weapons.
