In the Krasnodar Territory, trials began over the participants in the riots at the Makhachkala airport in October last year

At least three vessels of the Krasnodar Territory received criminal cases initiated after anti -Semitic speeches at the Makhachkala international airport Uytash on October 29 last year.

In the Armavir City Court, a criminal case has already begun on the merits of 26-year-old Islam Ibragimov and Salik Ramazanov, 23-year-old Magomed Omararaskhabov, 22-year-old Anwarbeck Ataev and 19-year-old Rabadan Rajabov. All of them are accused of participating in the riots. This is part 2 of Article 212 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation, which provides for up to eight years in prison.

The youngest person involved in the criminal case, Rabadan Rajabov, in addition to participating in the riots, is also accused of applying violence against a representative of the authorities (part 1 of article 318 of the Criminal Code). The sanction for such an act is up to five years in the colony.

Another criminal case on June 26, 2024 was received by Ust-Labinsk District Court. There are eight defendants in this matter: Adil Abdullaev, Budunov, Gamzat Gamzatov, Kurban Ibragimov, Magomed Irbeanov, Hasan-Guseyn Magomedov, Magomed Omalaev and Muhammadrasul Shakhbanov. All of them are charged with part 2 of Art. 212 of the Criminal Code (participation in riots) and part 1 of Art. 263.1 of the Criminal Code, which provides for criminal liability for violation of the requirements in the field of transport security. The defendants, according to the investigation, broke into the take -off field and paralyzed the airport. It is with this episode that the trial participants as representatives of the victims were declared lawyers of the Air, Nordstar, Aeroflot Airlines and the legal adviser of JSC Makhachkala Airport.

We found representatives of airlines and the Makhachkala airport among the participants in the process, the materials of which on July 2, 2024 entered the Novokuban District Court of the Krasnodar Territory.

There are six defendants in this criminal case: Magomed Gadzhiev, Shamil Gadzhiev, Bashir Magomedaliev, Alibig Ramazanov, Roosevelt Tagirov and Magomednabi Shaikhsramov.

Consideration of criminal cases entered the Ust-Labinsk and Novokuban district courts, apparently, will begin no earlier than August. This delay in the beginning of the consideration is associated with the entry into the case of new lawyers for their intended purpose, which will need time to get acquainted with the materials of criminal cases.

Dagestan lawyers, representing the interests of the defendants at the time when they were in the prison cells of the Mukhachkala pre-trial detention center, were forced to refuse to continue their work due to transferring the consideration of the case to the Krasnodar Territory.

On the road to the Kuban ships, they would have gone 12-14 hours.

So it was with the participants in the criminal case, the consideration of which began in the Armavir City Court. Lawyer Ramazan Aliyev, who defended Anvarbek Ataev in Makhachkala, told Novy that he did not have the opportunity to go to the trial in Armavir. Therefore, his client was given an Armavir lawyer for their intended purpose.

Islam Ibragimov, who was defended by Agamirza Agayev in Makhachkala, also provided a lawyer for their intended purpose.

“The transfer of the consideration of the case to the Krasnodar Territory for a completely far -fetched occasion is a spit in the face of Dagestan judges,” said Agamirza Agayev’s lawyer.

His colleagues, lawyers Leila Ubaidullaeva and Bakhtiyar Salavat, who were in a conversation with Novaya, said that it was originally planned to consider the case in the Karabudykent District Council of Dagestan, on the territory of which the Makhachkalinsky Uytash Airport, in a conversation. But the Supreme Court of Russia received the petition of the first deputy of the Russian Prosecutor General Anatoly Razinkin to transfer the case to another region. Because the accused have "communications in the law enforcement bloc, the judicial corps of the Republic of Dagestan." This argument, according to lawyers, looks frankly stretched: all the persons involved in the case are immigrants from poor families, and Anvarbek Ataev is an orphan. Islam Ibragimov grew up without a mother. Although Magomed Omarashabov grew up in a full family, but after graduating from only 9 classes, he quit his studies and began to help his father, who is engaged in cargo transportation.

How did the investigation of the criminal case on events at Uytash Airport develop?

Recall, on October 29, 2023, shortly before the flight of a flight from Tel Aviv, more than a thousand people gathered near the Uytash Airport, protesting against the allegedly expected arrival of “refugees from Israel” to Dagestan. The crowd demanded to prevent passengers with passports of the “aggressor country” in the republic and chanted the slogans in support of Palestine.

Protesters broke into the premises of the terminal, and then into the take -off field, paralyzing the airport. It was possible to pacify an atrocious crowd only after the introduction of the Airport of the divisions of the Russian Guard.

The very next morning, October 30, 2023, the chairman of the Russian Investigative Committee, Alexander Bastrykin, held an operational meeting, after which it became known about the initiation of a criminal case under Article 212 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation, which provides for up to eight years in prison for participating in riots. At the same meeting, Bastrykin announced the decision to transfer the investigation of this criminal case to the central apparatus of the department.

By the time this decision was made, the individuals of one and a half hundred active participants in the riots were already established, and more than 80 people were detained “until the circumstances clarified”.

On December 1, last year, the head of the press service of the Supreme Court of Dagestan Zarem Mamaeva said that the courts of the republic considered 242 administrative violations.

• 104 offenders were arrested for up to 10 days,

• 94 people received fines from 3 to 10 thousand rubles,

• 42 participants in the riots were assigned mandatory work,

• In relation to two persons, production was discontinued.

But the second investigative department of the Directorate for the Investigation of Particularly important cases of the Main Investigative Committee of the Squadum of Russia, which is engaged in crimes against state power and in the economy, continued the investigation of the criminal case, instituted on October 30.

131 people took place in the case, eight more people were put on the wanted list.

Why are the materials transferred to the courts now only 19 defendants? Perhaps the guess of this paradox is in the transcript of the operational meeting with members of the Security Council, the Government and the heads of law enforcement agencies, which was held by Vladimir Putin in the evening of October 30. In the public part of the event on the events at the Makhachkala airport, Uytash Putin said that in the incident “overseas figures” are allegedly guilty.

He was surprised:

“Is it possible to help Palestine, trying to attack the Tats ( Mountain Jews. - Ed. ) And their family? Tat, by the way, is a title nation in Dagestan. Palestine can only help in the fight against those who are behind this tragedy. We, Russia, are fighting with them in the framework of a special military operation, with them - both for ourselves and for those who strive for real, true freedom. ”

These words of the President of Russia, apparently, became a guide to the action of both the leadership of the republic and for law enforcement agencies.

The head of Dagestan, Sergei Melikov, said on the same day:

“If one of the detainees himself expresses a desire and, in order to wash themselves from shame, will take part either as part of volunteer units, or conclude a contract with the armed forces, I will only welcome.”

Videos from the Zone zone, on which soldiers of the volunteer battalions formed in Dagestan, called for joining them began to be rapidly spreading on social networks.

In Dagestan, in the late autumn of last year, the formation of the Caspian volunteer battalion was completed, and the Imam Shamil battalion also formed in Dagestan.

But the situation in Dagestan did not become calmer. On June 23, 2024, a terrorist attack occurred in Makhachkala and Derbent, during which armed militants attacked the Orthodox churches, synagogues and the post of traffic police. During the terrorist attack, 22 people died, including 17 law enforcement officers.

At the same time, not one of the participants in the attack participated in the riots at the Makhachkala airport on October 29, 2023. But who organized these mass riots is still unknown, and this is clearly not the people who are now being judged in the Krasnodar Territory.
