Open data, visual storytellers, economic sociology and neuroeconomics are courses from the advanced edge of modern journalism. They are taught at one of the programs of the faculty of media communications and multimedia technologies of the Don State Technical University (DSTU). The program is called Neurocedia, and the university in Rostov has been implementing it in cooperation with the highest school of the economy since 2020. Graduates: TSE receive a diploma of the DSTU media faculty and the faculty of creative industries of the HSE.
The faculty of creative industries in the Higher School of Economics is located in the top of Russian journalism. From 2014 to 2022 it was called the Faculty of Communications, Media and Design. One of the programs of the faculty is Modern Journalism . Classical journalistic disciplines and Data Science are being studied there: among the courses - steritelling, statistics, programming.
In May 2022, the Institute of Media at the faculty was headed by Ernest Matskyavicius, who worked on the Russia-1 television channel for many years. Now the Institute of Media regularly conducts wire events and publishes propaganda research, for example, the books “War, Peace and Populric Discourse in Ukraine” and “Discursive breakdown of the social field: Euromaidan lessons”.

Do you know what the neuromedia means? “The totality of cognitive technologies that can be used in marketing, in politics, and in advertising, and in education,” says Denis Dubovan, dean of the DSTU media faculty. The technopark George Kudinov, the 2006 TEFI-Region Prize Laureate “For Personal Contribution to the Development of Regional Television”, as well as one of the people at the origins of the DSTU media faculty. In 2023, Kudinova won purchases from DSTU for more than 15 million rubles, including "professional development of university workers occupied by the LPR, DPR, Kherson and Zaporizhzhya regions." The Battle of Zhurbakov is headed by the deputy dealer of the faculty Andrei Zolotukhin. The PS Five Owls portal is also connected with Zolotukhin: he appeared in a criminal case against the deputy dealership. Zolotukhin in 2015 received a grant to organize a competition of young leaders of the Voronezh region DUX-2016. However, according to investigators, he made a fake agreement for souvenirs and stationery and stole about 40 thousand rubles. A year later, Zolotukhin received two more grants - for the PS 5 Owl portal. Projects duplicated the goals and objectives of the DUX-2016-so Zolotukhin appropriated another 500 thousand rubles. In cases of fraud, Zolotukhin threatened up to six years in prison, but Voronezh’s railway court appointed him only a fine of 250 thousand rubles.

“[More] indecent obscene is not published. The right decision! The university’s leadership in this matter is completely and fully supported, ”he wrote about the closure of the student magazine. In mid -August 2022, Babin published a post in which he argued that the Faculty was fully responsible for the magazine and accused the author: to immorality. Whether the closure of the magazine with the posts of Babin is connected is unclear.

In mid -November, BelSU held a media forum for the student: K and school: c. The program included a lecture by Ekaterina Kryuchkova, the head of the patriotic projects of the Minobra “Scientific Regiment” and “In the Heart”. The contest “In the very heart”, according to press releases , is aimed at “Formation [...] of the feelings of patriotism” by the student: K. To participate in the competition, you need to publish “Competition Work” - photos, videos or text post - in social networks with a hashtag #Vsamoeservers. Materials should be told "On the contribution of representatives of different nationalities to the development of higher education in the country."
A little earlier, in March, an event dedicated to the "work of a social journalist in his zone" was held at the BelSU journalism department. “As soon as I crossed the border of the zone of action of my, they immediately told me that the main principle of journalism here is not a harm. Therefore, you have to write carefully, clarify what can be published and what is not, ” - The speaker was advised by Julia Osipova, the observer of state news agency RIA Novosti.

A year ago, the former vice -rector of BelSU Igor Konstantinov became a defendant in a criminal case of corruption. According to investigators, he appropriated the money that the Ministry of Education and Science allocated to the university for "conducting research and developing a new photo-video equipment." This is more than 200 million rubles. The investigation suspects that the former vice -rector for scientific and innovative activities abducted them all.
