July 1, 2024:

In Omsk, a criminal case was opened for calls for terrorism against an 18-year-old local resident, his name has not been reported. Details of the charges are unknown. The Kuibyshevsky District Court of Omsk granted the investigation's request to select a preventive measure for the Omsk citizen in the form of detention.
A minor local resident was detained in the Kemerovo region. He was accused of participating in the activities of a terrorist organization. According to investigators, between May and June 2024, the teenager, whose name was not disclosed, joined the Ukrainian paramilitary association “Russian Freedom Legion” and carried out tasks to collect and transmit information about strategically important industrial facilities located in the region. According to security officials, the man, a supporter of Ukrainian nationalist structures, posted text comments in Telegram chats containing calls for the overthrow of the current government.

July 3, 2024:

In Naberezhnye Chelny, a 33-year-old local resident was detained on charges of inciting hatred or enmity with the threat of violence. According to investigators, the man “posted information in ethno-nationalist online communities that contained a threat of violence against military personnel of the Russian Armed Forces” fighting in Ukraine. The person involved in the case was chosen as a preventive measure in the form of house arrest.
In the city of Alagir, North Ossetia, a criminal case was opened for desecration of the state flag of the Russian Federation against a local 34-year-old resident, history and social studies teacher at a boarding school, Taimuraz Dudayev. The reason for the criminal prosecution was a repost from the Telegram channel of TV presenter Lera Kudryavtseva of a photograph of a sticker on the door of a store in France in the form of a crossed out pig in the colors of the Russian flag. Dudayev in his post condemned the negative attitude towards Russians and the Russian flag, reproaching society in the West for double standards.

According to investigators, the young man, being a minor, submitted an application via telegram to join the “Freedom of Russia” legion and the “Russian Volunteer Corps”. A local resident was detained in the Republic of Bashkortostan; his name has not been reported. The man was accused of publicly calling for extremist activities. July 4, 2024:

In the Voronezh region, 22-year-old local resident Roman Shabanov was detained . He was accused of calling for terrorism. According to investigators, the young man allegedly left comments on VKontakte justifying strikes on the Crimean Bridge and calling for strikes against the Russian Federation. The court chose a ban on certain actions as a preventive measure for Shabanova.
A 24-year-old citizen of Uzbekistan named Muhammadin was detained in Moscow. He was accused of facilitating terrorist activities. According to security forces, the young man was allegedly recruited through social networks by a representative of the terrorist organization Hayat Tahrir al-Sham. In November 2022, in order to reconnaissance objects and carry out a terrorist attack, he filmed the administration of the Meshchansky district and four military registration and enlistment offices on his phone, after which he sent the footage to the “recruiter.” The court sent Muhammadin to a pre-trial detention center.
In Moscow, on July 4, 2024, a 19-year-old resident of the Republic of Buryatia was detained at the station. He was accused of attempted participation in the activities of a terrorist organization. According to investigators, a young man who opposed the conduct of the SVO decided to participate in the activities of the terrorist organization Legion of Freedom of Russia. In the Novosibirsk region, a criminal case was opened for public calls for terrorism against a 56-year-old local resident. In Moscow, after three “carousel” arrests under the article of petty hooliganism, a criminal case was opened for attempting to join a terrorist organization against a 24-year-old legal assistant, a graduate of the Moscow Federal Law Academy, Gleb Troitsky. It is not reported which “organization” Troitsky planned to join. The Meshchansky District Court of Moscow sent the young man to a pre-trial detention center.
In the city of Budennovsk, Stavropol Territory, a local resident was detained on charges of treason. According to the security forces, the man, “acting on the instructions of an employee of the Security Service of Ukraine, collected data about a chemical industry enterprise located in Budennovsk.” The man allegedly transmitted the information received via Telegram to an SBU officer. According to the FSB, in mid-2023 the man corresponded with “a member of a pro-Ukrainian terrorist organization” and “agreed to carry out a sabotage and terrorist act” at a military-industrial complex facility in Samara. The court sent the person involved in the case to custody.
In Yekaterinburg, they came to search the house of lawyer and human rights activist, current member of the Public Monitoring Committee, Alexei Sokolov. He was accused of repeatedly publicly displaying extremist symbols. The formal reason for criminal prosecution was posts in the Telegram channel “Human Rights Defenders of the Urals”, which contained links to Facebook with the logo of the social network. Sokolov himself connects the persecution with his human rights activities - a couple of days before the search, he promised to publish a video of torture in Detention Center No. 1 of Yekaterinburg on his Telegram channel.
