The court fined a Moscow resident 1,000 rubles for stalking and insulting a girl in a subway car because of her short haircut.

The Preobrazhensky District Court of Moscow fined local resident Vladimir Safonov 1,000 rubles for throwing a girl out of a train car, mistaking her for a man because of her short hair. This was reported by the joint press service of city courts.

Safonov chased the girl through the entire carriage and called her "a disgrace to the Russian people." He was found guilty under the protocol on petty hooliganism (part 1 of article 20.1 of the Code of Administrative Offenses).

The girl's name is Nastya Ermak. On July 10, she posted a video from the metro on her Telegram channel and described in detail what happened.

Ermak was riding in the carriage with a friend. A man came up to them, started filming them and said: "Get the fuck out of the carriage, faggots." Then he started following the young people, continuing to say "get out of the carriage, scum," "shame on the Russians," "I'm going to fuck you and your boyfriend now."

"He kicked Vlad in the back and chased us out of the car, when he "kicked" us to the last car, he stood next to me and looked as if he was about to hit me. <…> In the opinion of this lizard, we are disgracing the Russian people, all because of my unusual appearance, because of my hairstyle. Until the very end, I did not want to leave the car, but staying there was dangerous to life," Yermak said. She wrote a statement against Safonov.

Baza claims that 40-year-old Safonov graduated from the Ministry of Internal Affairs Institute and worked in the police until 2008. The Telegram channel writes that the man mistook Anastasia and her friend for a gay couple. In addition, he did not like the girl's short skirt. "I asked her to get out of the car, it was unpleasant to watch. This is my civic position, I am against LGBT," Baza quotes Safonov.
