Russian troops attacked a multi-story residential building in the Central District of Kherson - a shell hit one of the apartments, reports the head of the city's military administration Roman Mrochko.
According to him, no one was hurt in the house itself, but three people who were near the building at the time of the strike were injured. Among the injured were a mother and daughter.
The 16-year-old girl was taken to hospital in serious condition, writes the head of the Kherson region administration, Oleksandr Prokudin. She suffered an explosive injury, a brain contusion, and a head wound. Her 50-year-old mother suffered a concussion, an explosive injury, a craniocerebral injury, and shrapnel wounds to the face and legs. Another victim is a 71-year-old woman. She was diagnosed with a broken jaw, facial and neck wounds.
The windows of the multi-story building itself were broken and the walls were damaged. Parked cars and a gas pipeline were also damaged, Prokudin added.
On the afternoon of July 18, Prokudin reported that a Russian drone had attacked the village of Oleksandrivka, killing a 71-year-old man. The Kherson regional administration also wrote about the shelling of the village of Belozerka. A 51-year-old woman was injured there.
