Alushta in Crimea was completely de -energized on the evening of July 19, the head of the annexed city of Galina Ogneva said. According to her, the power outage occurred due to an accident on high-voltage lines in the Yalta area.
“The entire Alushta municipality is de -energized. Repair work is underway, ” wrote Ogneva in a telegram channel.
The head of the annexed Crimea, Sergei Aksenov, said that the accident occurred at two transformer substations in Alushta, about 49 thousand inhabitants were left without electricity.
Judging by these data, there is no electricity both in Alushta itself and in more than 20 villages and villages that the Russian authorities included in one city district.
About 31 thousand people live in Alushta, and in total in the Alushta city district - 56 thousand people.
On the evening of July 18, the Yalta Center was de-energized due to the accident at the Darsan substation, where the high-voltage cable was damaged.
