In the Perm Territory, according to human rights defenders, there was a riot in IK-10. FSIN denies this: prisoners only broke two lamps

The prisoners of the correctional colony No. 10 in the village of Vsesvyatskaya in the Chusovsky district of the Perm Territory arranged a riot. This was reported on July 22 by human rights activist Oksana Asaulenko.

According to her, this happened "last week", she did not bring the exact date. The human rights activist said that in order to suppress the rebellion into the colony, the “Bear” of the regional department of the FSIN was introduced, “they called employees from IK-37 to help”.

“In the premises of strict conditions of detention, convicts broke the plugs that muffle the connection. According to other information, video cameras and castles also broke. They closed everyone in the insulator, ”said Oksana Asaulenko. She noted that, according to relatives, there is still no connection with the prisoners.

In the Main Directorate of the FSIN in the Perm Territory, they deny that a rebellion occurred in IK-10, writes RIA Novosti. According to the press service of the administration, several “malicious violators of the established procedure for the punishment contained in strict conditions”, protesting against the actions of the colony’s employees “allowed the damage to property and disabled one video camera and two lamps”.

The FSIN claims that the colony officers held a “explanatory conversation” with the prisoners, after which the convicts “stopped illegal actions”. “Physical power and special equipment were not applied to the convicts,” added to the administration.

• According to open data, IK-10 is a male correctional colony of a strict regime, designed for almost 2300 prisoners. It is considered one of the largest colonies in the Perm Territory.
