Kadyrov “saves” Wildberries

He called the raider capture a deal that Putin personally approved. What is happening at all?

The association scheme, according to Kadyrov, does not bear any benefit for Wildberries: the RUSS turnover is 100 times less than WB. The head of Chechnya also believes that the interests of businesses do not coincide: WB is engaged in online trading, and Russian-outdoor advertising.

RUSS is the largest outdoor advertising operator in Russia.

On June 18, Wildberries issued an official statement that talked about the unification of the company with Russian. It was assumed that Tatyana Bakalchuk and Robert Mirzoyan mentioned by Kadyrov will share the responsibilities in the new project: Bakalchuk will become the general director of the future united group of companies, and Mirzoyan - the main executive director.

The Kremlin does not comment on Kadyrov’s statements about the raider seizure, but earlier they openly reported that Vladimir Putin personally instructed the transaction. Forbes wrote that the deal between the Russian and WB shocked market participants. It remained incomprehensible what was meant by the “association”, and in WB and Russian they chose not to clarify the situation. Kommersant claimed that Mirzoyanov has a certain administrative resource, the desired Wildberries for maintaining online trade.

The beneficiary of LLC Russ Outdor, according to the media, is a businessman and a member of the Federation Council Suleiman Kerimov (this was not officially confirmed). The Bell source claimed that the RUSS deal with Marketplais Bakalchuk is Krimov’s attempt to “get into” Wildberries.
