Police detained St. Petersburg resident Nikita Linnik when he went out to a solitary picket on the square near Gostiny Dvor. His acquaintance told OVD-Info about this.
The security forces released the young man after they copied his passport details. According to an acquaintance, the law enforcement officers said to Linnik, "stay here, no problem."
Linnik has been holding solo pickets at Gostiny Dvor for the past two months. The police showed no interest in him during the protests.
