We are watching a horror movie. No, we live inside him.
Some - many - of course, manage not to look at the screen, not to see the war, nor repression, nor the approaching world war - "not to look in that direction." But those who look, who cannot take their eyes, see that in the plot unfolding before our eyes and with our participation of tragedy there are absolutely comedy episodes. If we survive, we will laugh at. And besides us who survived, no one will understand.
If it weren’t for such a number of fools in power and next to the authorities, it would not be so fun. Here deputy Milonov demanded not to show lonely successful men in the cinema. Here is Medinsky, the one who found out that the Russians have a special additional chromosome, listing the domestic champions of the world in chess, “forgot” about Kasparov - there was no such chess player. Here they put on the wanted list of existing Western politicians, and the title of foreign agents is assigned to citizens of other states, in no way connected with Russia. Or they prohibit the entrance to Russia for those who were not going to it.
But now there has been not just another stupidity, about nothing but the grief of the mind of its authors, not evidenced - the event was not only funny, but also very significant. The Square of Europe near the Kyiv Station of Moscow was renamed the Square of Eurasia. The station, notice, has not yet been renamed, as well as the European shopping center located on the square.
By the way, it is clear about the station - they are going to win, Kyiv will be part of Russia, why rename it? That would be a defeature.
This square is one of the most ugly and chaotic in Moscow. The abstract sculpture of the “abduction of Europe”, which was presented on it, is presented on it, was created according to the ancient plot, which has nothing to do with modern Europe. To whom did the name interfere?
Here is Comrade Stalin, when he demolished the Cathedral of Christ the Savior in order to build in his place-it was in his place, and not somewhere nearby-the cyclopean palace of the Soviets, he knew what he was doing. The temple was one of the symbols of pre -revolutionary Russia, the memory of which should have been completely etched - the Bolsheviks have always been, there was chaos before them, that is, there was nothing, and Lenin, a hundred -meter statue of which was supposed to crown the building, and created our world like the Lord.
The current is heavier. From the very beginning, the Bolsheviks declared themselves as the neglects of everything that was before them - so they demolished everything to the foundation. Now the bosses prefer to talk about themselves as conservatives, although that, in addition to the political practices of the Horde, Ivan the Terrible and the Chekists, they cancel, it is incomprehensible. It would be necessary to demolish Petersburg as a symbol of European affiliation of Russia - Russia is a European power, said Catherine the Second - but the spirit is not enough. Not enough. But to rename the area - yes.

Naturally, there are a lot of jokes at once. And Rurik did not come from Europe, but from North Korea, and we belong not to the Caucasian race, but to some more friendly. And that the Tatars defended Rus' from aggression of Europe is a long time almost an official point of view.
Ideological foundations are so clear that there is nothing to talk about here. Since English lessons must be replaced by the manufacture of birdhouses, treated with an oak sheet and banned any entertainment, except for round dance, forbidding abortion and contraceptives at the same time, then any memories of our European identity must be exported with hot iron. Scythians we are! In a good sense of the word.
The country is in a free fall, so the fact that for this unit of time it fell even down, renaming, in this case, the square is not surprising. It is surprising that I have not renamed everything else yet, but this is ahead. By the way, Putin has examples in our history. The streets could not be in the USSR, for example, Washington or Roosevelt - the toponomik was supposed to reflect our specialty, separation from the world, even from the world of yesterday's allies (and in Paris there is Stalingrad Square). But even before the Bolsheviks, there were - to rename Petersburg, which by that time was already more than two hundred years old, in Petrograd, because our sovereign quarreled with their Kaiser is also worth a lot.
Putin can be understood. Firstly, the West (Europe) offended him, did not take him for his own. Secondly, if we are Europe, then the question is inevitable, what the hell are we fighting with them? With the brothers? With the younger ones - with Ukrainians, with Georgians, soon with Armenians and Moldovans - understandable.
We do not fight, but bring them to the mind, because they do not understand their benefits. And with all sorts of other Swedes why?
I think that on this path - the denial of our belonging to Europe - Putin does not shine. Almost like with Kyiv. At least the population of our cities unites us, too much with them. And the culture based on Christianity - Prince Vladimir got excited, got excited. And lifestyle. And even the semantics - the prefix "Euro" is synonymous to the word "good" - European -renovation, Euro -chemistry. I even saw an announcement somewhere in the province: “Euroshino Montazh”! Good, then tire fitting.
And, no matter what power fulfills, there is, nevertheless, self-awareness. We are Europeans. Someone himself confirms this feeling with an appeal to Shakespeare or Mozart or talks about our influence on them-Dostoevsky, ballet, and so on. Someone-discussions about the centuries-old interweaving of the fate of our country and our people with the Europeans-and our kings are from the Germans, and our nobility spoke French, and the nobles, and the rackers traveled to Europe. And someone-quite in the simple way, is inappropriate-we are white, they say. And no matter how tried the TV, the Germans with the British, maybe bad, and do not like us, but our people will never feel part of the Persian Korean world.
You can, of course, continue to rename, the people to amuse. But spitting against the wind, Vladimir Vladimirovich.
