The Kalininsky District Court of Novosibirsk received a criminal case against an employee of the meat department of the market, Dalerdzhon Achilov, for consideration on the merits under the articles on dissemination of military "fakes" (clause "d" of Part 2 of Article 207.3 of the Criminal Code) and on hooliganism motivated by hatred (clause "b" of Part 1 of Article 213 of the Criminal Code). According to the investigation, from February 2022 to mid-March 2024, Achilov publicly spoke "about the goals, methods and progress" of the war in Ukraine and Putin's actions, and also "used crude obscene language, insulting Russian women." The court clarified that the man "expressed obvious disrespect for society" and was guided by "hatred" of Russian citizens and representatives of the "social group of military personnel of the Russian Ministry of Defense."
The case was opened in April, when the man was sent to a pretrial detention facility.
Achilov is a citizen of Tajikistan who came to Russia in 2012. According to the court, he received a residence permit in 2021, and in February 2024, he applied for citizenship. The Novosibirsk publication VN.ru wrote that Achilov worked in the meat department of one of the city's markets. Here, another market employee complained about the man - he allegedly showed aggression towards a woman, which is why she had to quit. Perhaps it was this complaint that became the reason for initiating a case of hooliganism.
