The court has declared illegal the decision to assign the status of "flight prone" to Krasnoyarsk Legislative Assembly deputy Alexander Gliskov, who is in custody in a case of receiving a bribe on an especially large scale (Part 6, Article 290 of the Criminal Code). This was reported by his support group.
Gliskov was assigned this status because of a drawing of a cell that he made to file a complaint about the conditions of detention in Pre-trial Detention Center No. 1.
The court also approved a preventive measure today - the politician remains in the pretrial detention center, despite a broken rib. On July 22, he slipped and fell on his way to court.
In September 2023, Alexander Gliskov ran for the post of governor of the region. During the elections, he reported vote-buying by United Russia. Later, his office was searched and he was sent to a pretrial detention center. The investigation accuses him of receiving a bribe from the head of one of the Krasnoyarsk state-owned enterprises between December 2016 and May 2017. The Kras Mash Telegram channel wrote that the amount in question was ten million rubles.
- Gliskov reported in a letter from the pretrial detention center that a protocol had also been drawn up against him under an administrative article because of a video posted on Telegram, in which he called for people to come to the elections and “take revenge on the party of officials for the black sky, gasoline prices, pension reform, and broken roads.”
