Former head of Navalny's headquarters in Ufa Liliya Chanysheva has left IK-28 in Perm Krai in an unknown direction. Chanysheva's husband Almaz Gatin reported this on Twitter.
The day before, Gatin came to the colony to give his wife a parcel, but the FSIN employees said that she left the institution on July 26. “Please let me know if anyone knows anything about the whereabouts of Chanysheva L.A. ” the man writes.
In the summer of 2023, Chanysheva was sentenced to seven and a half years in prison, a fine of 400 thousand rubles, a seven-year ban on administering websites, holding and attending mass events; she was also given two years of restricted freedom after serving her sentence. A month later, the decision was approved , but the prosecutor's office considered it "lenient". Deputy Prosecutor General of Russia Igor Tkachev said that he would seek a ten-year term for Chanysheva. In March 2024, the cassation court sent the case back for a new trial in the appellate court, and in April the sentence was toughened to nine and a half years in prison.
The activist was tried under articles on the creation of an extremist community and/or participation in it using official position (Part 3 of Article 282.1 of the Criminal Code), public calls for extremist activity (Part 1 of Article 280 of the Criminal Code) and participation in the activities of an NPO that infringes on the personality and rights of citizens (Part 3 of Article 239 of the Criminal Code). She was released from the last two charges due to the expiration of the statute of limitations, but the appellate court added two aggravating circumstances to the case: the commission of a crime by a group of persons and motivated by political hatred.

- Chanysheva was detained in November 2021. At first, the activist was in a pretrial detention center in Ufa, but then she was transferred to Moscow, as her case was being investigated by the Central Office of the Investigative Committee. In the summer of 2022, it became known that she was prohibited from making phone calls and visiting her parents and husband for several months. In February 2023, the woman was transferred back to Ufa to participate in court hearings.
- At the end of September 2021, the Investigative Committee reported that a case of an extremist community (Article 282.1 of the Criminal Code) had been opened against Navalny and his associates, as well as other activists. It later became known that several other cases, previously opened against the politician and several key figures in his structures, had been added to this case.
