The State Duma at the end of the summer season without special discussions in the first, second and third readings immediately adopted a number of laws regarding our life on the Internet.
Everyone will get-from lovers of cryptocurrencies to bloggers and Internet providers. Already traditionally we are talking about restrictions on freedom, repressions, registers and punishments. It would be naive to expect something else. With all existing laws, it turned out that the system is still staggering, which means that it is necessary to further tighten the nuts. As a result, when Putin signed these laws and they enter into force, we will get the next round of digital barbed wire, enveloping the Russian Internet segment for all its participants.
Finding words explaining what is happening is becoming more and more difficult. In conditions when the authorities and people lost the possibility of dialogue, this activity seems more and more worthless. Under the cover of illiterate pieces of paper, some solve financial issues, while others, adding meaningless words such as “morality” or “protection of the constitutional system” to the texts, solve political problems. To hope that among the participants in this process there will be sane people is no longer worth it.
The system has gone at all and methodically implements the federal target program “More Ada”.
Looking ahead, we can say: it will not work, but they will punish, and the Internet will become even worse.
In attempts to explain the Internet, many, including the author of these lines, suffered a fiasco. Reading the statements of colleagues, you feel hopelessness of thought.
They said: technical interference in the operation of the network, which in places and so built through the stump of the deck, will lead to a deterioration in the quality of communication. By blocking sites and introducing total censorship, you cannot solve problems, but you can increase the number of those who use different tools for access to the free world. Grabbing the Internet by state services and displacing world players, you simply destroy the market. Creating numerous registers and trying to oblige users and companies to register there, you get only a bureaucratic load in addition to endless irritation of others. Punishing for texts and reposts, you only breed aggression. You can continue for a long time. What is the point?

Separately, it is sad to read the legal analysis of new initiatives. If earlier the control and legal administration of the Presidential Administration at least tried to imitate the compliance of laws to some realities, now now they have long spat on this case.
Any law should be simple, understandable and fulfilled by everyone as the rules of the road. Here, a banal abuse of the legal system: vague illiterate formulations, the tradition of adopting frame abstract laws, and then try to put them in order by -laws, which arises from this, the impossibility of implementation, a banal conflict even with a corrected constitution. To consider this line and try to draw some conclusions-Martyshkin work. All the same, they will be punished, fined, blocked, imprisoned. Is it so important, according to which article?
Here again they took up bloggers. The one who has more than 10,000 subscribers should now go to Roskomnadzor. Otherwise, it is impossible to place advertising, it is impossible for the channel to be quoted and so on. How small children to explain that this is idiocy? Where to start? What is this directed against citizens? That this is not a state affair at all? What in such an exotic way, fighting not with political opponents, but with common sense, do you discredit yourself? Take the deputy abstractly for the scruff, like a cat, and poke his nose into a puffed one? You can’t take it seriously ...
In a little more vegetarian times, the bloggers law managed to stop. There was also the opportunity to convey some ideas. Today, be kind, get into operation, register and so on.
The fact that this is directly concerned with a giant audience who is not involved in the political process is silent. Just see how the authors who write about cats and flowers, bowing their heads, will go to give up. Someone-out of fear, someone-in the hope of getting some bonuses from this. And the fact that the service of this story-both technical and legal-is simply unrealistic due to volumes, forget. Well, the world will share for the official and state, approved from above and free. The latter, however, will be available only through VPN. But we will miss this. Khan to you, bloggers: either bow or in jail. Here he is, the law! And the fact that fines and punishments have not yet been registered is a matter of time. It’s definitely not rusting for this.
Or another law that expands the punitive capabilities of Roskomnadzor without a trial, investigation and coordination with someone, allowing you to take control of entire providers and almost manually deleting information. Assess this from a legal point of view? Please, all this is about the repressive department, which should not exist in theory at all. But in practice, thousands of loafers at the expense of the budget are fighting dissent. Separately touching and cute, how all this is covered by the protection of citizens, values and other order. It is difficult to imagine more hypocrisy from people who have long scored on these values.
If you simplify the thought of officials: it is better not to use the Internet. In active format, for sure.
You can accidentally read something illegal, subscribe to a blogger who did not receive the approval of the state, like in the wrong place or establish some kind of program, which may also be an illegal effect. Remember that there is a TV, there are a dozen channels. Turn on the radio and listen to the song "Valenks" - so safer. It sounds exaggerated, but still: the Russian Internet is not only broken and spoiled, it is also corny unsafe. And now the main threat is not viruses, not fraudsters, not hackers, but a state.

The digital gulag happened. Yes, not instantly, but in pieces. Yes, not for everyone, but everyone has a chance to get under a horse. Citizens were lazy everywhere: both in public space, where it is unsafe, regardless of motives and in virtual. Any action can have negative consequences. And some kind of penalty seems to be the most harmless-it is necessary to fill out the vacant prisons with someone.
But, as always, there are good news, albeit covered with a sign with the inscription "sarcasm". Among the laws adopted by the State Duma there is a ban on Trash Stamov. As the letter of the law says, it is “the spread of information that offends human dignity and social morality, expressing a clear disrespect for society, containing an image of actions with signs of illegal actions.” And if a miracle happens and the law begins to work, the first thing that falls under it is any meeting of the State Duma, the second is socio-political broadcasting. Because against their background, traditional Trash Stim seems to be a completely harmless hobby.
Of course, I would like all these anti-constitutional departments to be disbanded, laws can be canceled with whole packages and articles, and peace and freedom would reign in space (as it will ever happen). But while the repressive machine is not going to stop, but to expect resistance from the society in such conditions is somewhat naive. So in the near future it remains to lead the collapse chronicles.
