The Prosecutor General's Office has declared the activities of the charitable foundation for helping convicts and their families "Rus' sidyashchaya" (the German legal entity of the foundation Russland hinter gittern) "undesirable" on the territory of the Russian Federation. According to the Russian Prosecutor General's Office, the authors of the project regularly publish news that "demonizes the image of Russia" and also try to "rewrite" the country's history.
