Analysts have named the lowest paid professions in Russia. The lowest salaries in the country are received by cleaners and teachers. This is reported by RIA Novosti with reference to data from the job search service Headhunter.
The lowest paid Russian janitors. According to Headhunter, they earn about 32.6 thousand rubles a month, which is 2.3 times lower than the national average. Janitors (37.3 thousand rubles) and kindergarten teachers (40.5 thousand rubles) earn slightly more. Teachers, whose salary is about 41.9 thousand rubles, also made it into the anti-top by salary.
Artists earn more. Headhunter claims that representatives of this profession earn 45.6 thousand rubles. Psychologists earn the same. Security guards (47.3 thousand rubles) and cashiers-operators (48.4 thousand rubles) earn more.
RIA Novosti writes that the median salary in Russia today is 70-75 thousand rubles. This means that one half of Russians receive a salary greater than this amount, and the other half - less.
In general, work in the professions that were included in the rating of the lowest paid ones most often does not require professional education or special qualifications, Headhunter concluded.
At the same time, Rosstat data shows that there is a significant gender gap in salaries in Russia. The gap in salaries between men and women in Russia has reached a 10-year high and is 27% across the country. Since 2021, the gender gap has increased in 66 regions. For example, in managerial positions, men earn 32% more than women. Agriculture and forestry are the only areas where women's salaries exceed men's earnings. The difference is about 14.2%.
