The Russian Defense Ministry reported that Ukraine has lost almost 100% of its group in the Kursk region

The Ministry of Defense reported that during the fighting "in the Kursk direction," Ukrainian forces lost up to 945 servicemen (the ministry did not specify how many were killed and how many were wounded). Two days ago, the Chief of the General Staff Valery Gerasimov reported to Vladimir Putin that units of the Ukrainian Armed Forces "numbering up to one thousand people" had entered Russian territory.

• In its publications, the Ministry of Defense did not report on additional reserves of the Ukrainian Armed Forces arriving in Kursk Oblast. Thus, it turns out that no more than 55 people should have remained from the original Ukrainian group of up to a thousand people.
• The Washington Post newspaper, which spoke with an adviser to Volodymyr Zelensky the day before, also estimated the Ukrainian group in the Kursk region at about a thousand people.
• Despite statements by the Russian Defense Ministry, which indicate that the Ukrainian Armed Forces no longer have military personnel on Russian territory, the clashes in the Kursk region, which began on Tuesday, continue on Friday.
