Telegram channel administrators were unable to publish new posts. When attempting to publish a new post, an error message appeared. This was reported by the Telegram Info channel.

Some time after Telegram Info published the error, the message in the Telegram channel was edited. The new version of the post contained information that the problem in the messenger had been solved, and posts in Telegram channels were sent without problems.

Earlier, there were problems with the secure messenger Signal in Russia. Messages were not sent or received when the VPN or the "Bypass censorship" option in the advanced settings in the "Privacy" section were disabled.

At that time, Important Stories wrote that the messenger had begun to be blocked in Russia. Roskomnadzor soon confirmed this, explaining the blocking by the fact that Signal allegedly did not follow the requirements, “the fulfillment of which is necessary to prevent the use of the messenger for terrorist and extremist purposes.”

In February of this year, a major failure occurred in the RuNet due to the fault of Roskomnadzor. Then, the deputy chairman of the State Duma Committee on Information Policy and Communications Anton Tkachev said that Roskomnadzor's systems were being reconfigured to restrict access to "sites, platforms and unfriendly services." According to him, this could have caused the failures.
