PayPal sent a letter to the press secretary of Julia Navalny Kira Yarmysh about the termination of cooperation after she was included in the list of “terrorists and extremists,” she said in her social networks.
The letter, the fragment of which was published by Yarmysh, said that the service checked its account and, because of the “associated increased risk”, would like to stop cooperation with it “in a way that would minimally affect” her work.
“Not even three hours have passed since the Putin authorities declared me a terrorist how PayPal ran to fulfill and block my score,” wrote Yarmysh.
A few hours before, Rosfinmonitoring introduced Kira Yarmys in the list of “terrorists and extremists” along with the head of the International FBC Maria Pevchiki, two Navalny lawyers, leading Utuub-channel “Popular Policy” Dmitry Nizovtsev and a nearby person associated with the Navalny team. In January 2024, Kira Yarmys was arrested in absentia by the Moscow court in the case of participation in the "extremist" community.
