Russian President Vladimir Putin appointed his cousin Anna Tsivilev to the State Secretary-Deputy Minister of Defense. The corresponding decree was signed on August 17, TASS reports.
Prior to this, Tsivilev was an ordinary deputy minister.
There may be several deputies of the head of each federal department, while the state secretary is only one. Setters are responsible for the connection of the Ministry with parliament and other state bodies, as well as with public organizations.
