The former prisoner who fought in Wagner's PMC received 23 years to kill a pensioner after returning from the front. Now he was again released from the colony to war

The former prisoner Ivan Rossomakhin, who fought in Wagner, who fought in Wagner, who, after returning from the front, killed an 85-year-old resident of the Kirov region and was convicted of this by 23 years in colony, signed a contract with the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation and again went to the war in Ukraine.

The exemption of the 29-year-old Rossomakhin was informed to relatives of the murdered personnel who was reported to the administration of correctional colony No. 1 in the Kirov region, where the convict was serving a sentence, writes the human rights project “Permanent”. The telegram channel “Caution, News” published a letter that the head of the colony sent to the victims.

The first time Rossomakhin was sentenced in 2020. He received 14 years in a murder colony for murder, but he was released, entering Wagner's PMC after the beginning of a full -scale Russian invasion of Ukraine. In March 2023, the former prisoner returned to his native village of Novy Burets. After that, the inhabitants of the village complained that Rossomakhin walked around the village with a pitchfork and an ax and threatened his neighbors.

A week after returning from the front, Rossomakhin raped and killed an 85-year-old resident of the neighboring city of Vyatsky Polyana Yulia Bui. According to the Mediazons, he was charged with articles on the threat of murder (part 1 of Article 119 of the Criminal Code), rape (paragraph “b” of part 2 of article 131 of the Criminal Code) and murder with special cruelty (paragraphs “B”, “D” and “ K »Part 2 of Article 105 of the Criminal Code).

In April 2024, the Kirov Regional Court sentenced Rossomakhin to 22 years in a maximum security colony. In July, the appeal instance increased his term to 23 years. Rossomakhin was also obliged to pay the family killed two million rubles as compensation for non -pecuniary damage.

“Thus, without staying in the colony and six months, the convicted one went to the war zone,” the human rights activists noted.
