Shinzo Abe from Japan won the hearts of Primorye residents with speeches filled with poetry about the need to achieve peace and prosperity together (and develop the Kuril Islands, where would we be without them). The presidents of South Korea insisted on how important it is to continue to develop automobile and shipbuilding, increase trade and education, and not let North Korea go downhill. The President of Mongolia told how wonderful it was in his country, and really asked for access to the sea... And billionaires came with reasonable, understandable projects and problems. Today the WEF has become a parody of itself.

Among the leaders of the powers, Deputy Chairman of the People's Republic of China Han Zheng (Vladimir Putin has already met with Xi Jinping twice this year), Prime Minister of Malaysia Anwar Ibrahim and Deputy Chairman of the Serbian government Alexander Vulin, who swore allegiance to Russia and assured, arrived and are expected to speak at the plenary session. that the Serbs did not transfer MiG-29 aircraft to Ukraine.

Alexander Dugin, the ideologist of the modern Russian “this is all,” arrived. Unfortunately, I watched Dugin’s session “Southeast Asia in a Multipolar World.” And I listened to how, for example, the owner of the Tsargrad TV channel, Malofeev, pours water on America (where people’s incomes are not growing, but the national debt is growing, the methods of governing the world are bombings and wars) and extols Asia.

Frankly speaking, it is unclear how this “dead horse” is still moving, but professors, the Indian ambassador, right-wing social activists, former politicians from South Africa, Nepal, Japan, Australia and other countries, as well as Maria Zakharova, gathered to talk about the multipolar world. It would be possible to switch off approximately after the Japanese ultra-patriot began to tell how he and his comrades honor the great writer Yukio Mishima, who committed hara-kiri and demonstrated the “samurai spirit,” and how the Japanese are fighting for independence from the United States (then the translation broke down).

But there was also a wonderful former member of the European Parliament from the National Front (who would doubt it, ultra-right!) Frenchman Emeric Shoprade, whom Dugin for some reason called “the largest geopolitician.” There was a proposal from France to join BRICS because “taking into account its overseas territories, France belongs to the Global South.”

At the same session, Dugin tried to give the floor to the North Korean ambassador, but quickly realized that not everyone is allowed to speak in a multipolar world, and simply asked the diplomat to stand up to support him with applause. He praised North Korea's idea of ​​being self-reliant.

But even Dugin with his metaphysics and, excuse me, near-fascist views could not surpass the phenomenon of the “Taliban”* to the people. They arrived at the WEF suddenly, so to speak, without declaring war.

Reportedly, these are representatives of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry. This is how we learned that the Taliban also have such a “chamber”. Now I want to know what they trade and do. It is not reported which section they participated in. But, judging by insider information, the Taliban really enjoyed it at the forum. This is despite women without hijabs and even in short skirts and - oh horror! - educated.

The media quotes the words of the representative of the Afghan Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Mohammed Yonnas Hossein: “I want to discuss the possibilities of joint work of businessmen of our countries. Afghanistan is safe - we have no corruption, no prohibited substances, and a well-developed agriculture. The situation in Afghanistan is favorable, so I would like Russian businessmen to operate in Afghanistan.” It’s interesting - but if they really find investors on the forum (well, suddenly) and establish contacts, will this be considered financing terrorism or not?

But there is something stable in this world. Prostitutes and restaurants have traditionally raised prices at the WEF. Now you can enjoy a Greek salad for 1,400 rubles (according to other sources, for 2,375 - menus vary). Or hire an escort for 300–600 thousand rubles for three hours, without sex. It is possible for intimacy and quite cheap - from 50 thousand per night. And what? The economy must be economical!

On the logic of “acquisitions”

During the plenary session of the Eastern Economic Forum (EEF), the President of Russia answered a question about the situation at the front and in the border regions of the country. According to him, the enemy, through his actions, has weakened himself in key directions and is suffering heavy losses in territory, manpower and equipment. In addition, Putin spoke about possible peace negotiations. The President is confident that Kiev in Turkey agreed to peace agreements, it was necessary to “finalize some things” - and then supposedly “Western curators” in the person of Boris Johnson ( then Prime Minister of Great Britain - Ed.) came and “gave instructions Ukrainians must fight until the last Ukrainian.” But Russia is still ready to return to the negotiating table, Putin repeated several times. “First of all, we must think about the people who are going through trials and suffering from these terrorist acts (the actions of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the Kursk region - Ed.). The sacred duty of the Armed Forces is to do everything to throw the enemy out of these territories and reliably protect our citizens. And the whole country must do everything to support people.

As for the military side of the matter, I have already spoken about this: the enemy’s goal was to make us nervous, fuss, and transfer troops from one area to another. And stop our offensive in key directions - first of all, in Donbass, the liberation of which is our primary goal. Did it work or not? No. The enemy failed. Firstly, our Armed Forces stabilized the situation and began to gradually push him [the enemy] out of the border areas. Secondly, this is the main thing, no actions are taking place to restrain our offensive. On the contrary, by transferring its fairly large and well-trained units to the border areas, the enemy weakened itself in key directions, and our troops accelerated offensive operations. There have not been such territorial acquisitions for a long time. Just the day before yesterday, for example, the Vostok group captured 7x5 kilometers in one triangle strike.

The “Center” group is also operating very successfully in the Pokrovsky direction. There, too, acquisitions are no longer calculated in hundreds of meters, but in square kilometers, 4x5, 3x5, and so on. And last but not least: the enemy is suffering very heavy losses in both manpower and equipment. The Ministry of Defense provides this data, I consider it objective, because it is confirmed by several sources at once. This is fraught, on the one hand, with the destruction of the front in the most important directions. And losses can lead to the loss of combat capability of all armed forces [of Ukraine]. This is what we are trying to achieve.

As for attacks on nuclear power plants. These are very dangerous terrorist attacks. One can only imagine what will happen to this entire part of Europe if we start responding in a mirror way.”

According to Putin, all the parameters of the peace agreement with the Ukrainian authorities have allegedly already been agreed upon in Turkey. They were endorsed by the head of the negotiating delegation, David Arakhamia, head of the Servant of the People faction in the Verkhovna Rada.

“Yes, there were still some things that needed to be finalized, but overall the visa is worth it, it’s a document. Then Mr. Johnson arrived, as you know. The British authorities do not deny this. He came and gave instructions to the Ukrainians to fight until the last Ukrainian,” Putin said.

According to him, the Ukrainian authorities “publicly stated”: if they had fulfilled those agreements and “did not listen to their masters from other countries, *** ( we are forced to censor the president’s words, since the word he used violates the requirements of Roskomnadzor - ed. ) has long since ceased."

But Russia never refused to negotiate, the president repeated, on the basis of documents produced in Istanbul, which allegedly suited Ukraine.

There was a desire among people in the United States, Europe... some European countries to achieve the strategic defeat of Russia. They thought that they would now take advantage and bring Russia to its knees, dismember it, or whatever else they were planning to do. They thought: here! Here! Manna from heaven has fallen, now they will achieve their strategic goals, which they have been striving for, perhaps for centuries or decades. That's what it's all about...

I get the impression that those who lead Ukraine seem to be some kind of aliens, or foreigners. No, I'm serious. Well, such losses are colossal. I don’t even understand what they will do next. It is now necessary to lower the conscription age again, to recruit children, as in fascist Germany, to create the Hitler Youth. But this will not solve the problem! Mobilization there is total and is taking place. The next step is to recruit students and so on. Completely bleed the country dry. I repeat once again - the impression is that these are not their people. Well, it’s clear: the relatives of the ruling elite mostly live abroad. We boarded the plane and they were gone, that was the end of it. They don't think much about the country. They hide behind only nationalist slogans, that’s all. People are being fooled.

But I repeat: if there was a desire to negotiate, we did not refuse. But on the basis of the agreements that were reached and recorded in Istanbul.”
