Even among other propaganda federal television channels, Russia 24 has always occupied a special place. Having arisen in the structure of VGTRK as “News 24” in 2006, the media resource immediately encountered criticism for bias, election propaganda and his own meaninglessness: the same news with the same accents showed the same news on Russia and the First, unless not around the clock.
But gradually, the "news" manifested its own corporate identity. They found their niche in the rejection of even ostentatious following not only journalistic and ethical standards, but also the minimum standards for the quality of content and facts. It was “Russia 24” in 2011 that spoke about the famous result of 146% in the Duma elections, in 2013- pissing off the statistics of the results of the presidency of Mikhail Saakashvili in Georgia, and in 2014 dedicated the plot for seven minutes Viktor Shenderovich's note about the Olympics in Sochi. It ended with a demonstration of the famous personnel entering the journalist in the "honey trap" of the special services and "expert commentary" Christina Pobedchik on this score.
It was the last genre that is the initiation of long pseudoanalytic programs by zero information farms - “Russia 24” honed to perfection. This is probably due to round-the-clock broadcasting, due to which the airtime is not a pity. However, over the past 10 years, the quality of the analysts has decreased even more, and Schenderovich has been supplanted by the threads of Russian emigrants in X ( Twitter to Renaying. - Approx. Ed. ).
Through them, the federal channel seeks to represent the post -war emigration from Russia by the destiny of marginals, which leads to poverty, unemployment, desocialization and the loss of numerous advantages that there were trackers at home. How convincingly is it?
All four plots that will be discussed were shown at Russia 24 this summer in the program “Vesti with Alexei Kazakov” in the prime time.
Concern with a “relaying theme” at the media resource worsened in August, when only two six -minute transmissions were aired on the twitter misadventures of the diaspora.
Perhaps this is a slightly belated “development” of the resonant July research of The Bell that 650 thousand people had left and had not returned from the Russian Federation-and Gossmi was ordered to depreciate this loss.

The figure of Alexei Kazakov himself says a lot about the quality of these plots. Very little is known about the host. He has since 2014 at VGTRK, and since then he managed to provoke several scandals. For example, in 2018, he accused the correspondent of Novaya Gazeta on the air of Pavel Kanygin of the use of cocaine, which was followed by the trial in the press complaints with the final decision in favor of the “new”. Kazakov also has extremely atypical for the host of the television channel diction: he does not pronounce the sound “P”, often stimulates and has a deaf, non -zacaccentenary timbre of voice. What is quite in the spirit of the trend in 2014 to reduce the professionalism of personnel on federal TV.
This trend also affected experts invited to the air. In almost all “twitter” plots, the “political scientist” Grigory Nazarenko acts as a commentator in quotation marks, since this status is simply impossible to confirm. There is no information about this person on the Web, he (or about him) does not have a single publication in the media-only a telegram channel for a thousand subscribers, where he talks about the fact that Julia Navalny writes the rollers “Buhai”.

“We see an infantile idiot who behaves like a woman who, from his comfort, where he was lined with cotton, has moved to conditions that are not suitable for his pampered person,” Nazarenko supplemented the plot about the programmer Mikhail Knyazeva, who published on Twitter a thread about the difficulties of emigration in Georgia. In particular, that he had to work three times more to maintain a family, and it was not so easy to find a good school for his son in a new country.
For Russia 24, this was the reason for almost seven -minute mockery of Knyazev, whose "subtle nature" "organized problems for itself." The video of a young girl, who tells about experiences in connection with moving to London, was also included in the same program.
The propagandists have chosen a very peculiar strategy to discredit these people - banal mockery. After Knyazev briefly represents the “London sufferer” and the “sobbing relocant”, his colleague Yevgeny Petrukhin appears in the studio and with a wide smile begins to literally shout valuable “aphorisms” like “in Georgia alone khachapuri will not be full” (again, with frequent hesitation).
The further narrative is built on the basis of the selective mention of Knyazev’s tweets with their subsequent refutation, for example: “I do not want my children to grow in a fascist state,” “This is how he speaks about the country that at least gave him an education! Where does such hatred come from? "
Petrukhin pronounces all the relayed quotes in this and other plots with undisguised, elaborate contempt and mockery in tone and facial expressions. There is no question of any journalistic neutrality or at least delicacy.

The collective mockery session is summarized by another “political scientist” with a foggy background, Movses Gazaryan, who simply thinks out for Knyazev’s content of his thread: “He perfectly understood that he would not find himself.” And subsequently he evaluates the programmer’s plans to move to Uruguay as a “path to nowhere”, accusing the “pro -Western propaganda” of firing the Russians and the declension of their emigration. In particular, the “new newspaper Europe”.
This is the next program of July 4 under the heading "The task of the liberal press - to hold the trains abroad." In it, propagandists attribute to the New-Europe a sociological study that the Russians who left after the outbreak of war began to think less about returning to their homeland. And the author of the study by Nika Kostenko is called the “sociologist of the“ Novaya Gazeta ””-although we are talking about the material of the T-INVARIANT resource, which the New Evrope simply shared on Instagram. This is, by the way, about the level of factskeeping on the channel with an audience of tens of millions of spectators.
The whole plot, in fact, is dedicated to the refutation of the hypothesis of those who want to stay abroad of the Russians. For example, through the mention of Twit, the activist Boris Zolotarevsky about the refusal of the Georgian border guards to let him into the country: “He is no longer waiting for him there, they literally torn a person from a plate from Khinkali!” - Petrukhin reappears in the frame, the leitmotif of which Gazaryan picks up:
“How they say that Khinkali has already loved, where without it ... Especially if your curators are paid!”
What does the case with a refusal to cross the Georgian border - which is more likely discrediting the pro -Russian policy of Tbilisi - is not clear. When the presenters and experts, after repeating the jokes about Khinkali, recall the information water and the need to refute it, everything begins to look even more bizarre. They themselves complicate the task for themselves and turn the discussed hypothesis from “more and more trackers remain abroad” into “reserves abroad can succeed”. The propagandists contrast this thesis with a ten -second story of Gazaryan about an unnamed Moscow businessman who is now "selling vegetables in a suburbs of Brussels." This exhaustive story follows Petrukhina’s claim against Novo-Europe-that she reinforces “her” research only by photography by Nika Kostenko: “Where are the respondents, real data of the pavements? .. As she believed, personally stood at the airports?” (All details and a description of the methodology are in detailed reports on the website of the Outrush Kostenko project, a link to which is already given in the T-Invariant text).

On this air, I left attempts to argue with the sociology of Russia 24. And in her next Twitter program, she resorted to another tactic - casuistry. In mid-August, on Twitter, the thread of the 36-year-old relocant Dmitry Chekaikin about his conflict with the owner of the apartment in Yerevan became viral due to a delay in the rent. Later, the hostess shared her photographs of housing, which Dmitry launched and littered so much in a few months that even representatives of the clining service refused to clean up there. This is a case in which the relocant's side is rudely wrong even with the most benevolent attitude to which Dmitry’s special “emigrant caricature” is added to: due to its status, Quir-Pan, a specific lexicon and bright appearance. What, of course, the propagandists of Russia 24 used, deciding to identify with Dmitry all those who left the Russian Federation due to the war of Russians.
“This is precisely an indicator of the intellectual level, the level of culture, relationships with other people of this elite, which we lost on the peaks of the Upper Lars ... lost such characters as this Quir-Printsess from Penza,” commented on the situation by the permanent guest of the “twitter” broadcasts of Political Science Nazarenko.
Another expert says that on the basis of emigrant publications on Twitter, one can only conclude that their authors need immediate medical care. Similar reasoning on “Russia 24” sounded in last year’s plot about the text of “such cases” about emigrant-frygans (people who eat food from garbage).
The characteristic of the entire emigrant community as a mentally ill quasi -eve is the first category of propaganda casuistry. The second is highlighted under the popularization of the thesis about the lack of demand for Russians abroad and their “second -rate” in a foreign land.
On August 22, the television channel showed a transmission , the information farm for which was the return of the artist Martz Schwartz to Russia; She acquired limited publicity in the spring of 2022 due to an interview with The Village with a rather sharp criticism of the lifestyle of Russians who refused to emigrate. In January 2024, due to the aggravated health problems, Martha returned to her homeland, which probably no one would have noticed if Mikhail Svetov Mikhail Svtv on August 21 had released a news note about this.
The very next day, the leaders of Russia 24 almost literally quoted it live, showing a video of the marf with the SVTV water sign. The criticism of her “unprincipled” is followed by three minutes of the otching of this case and the excretion of patterns from it. A video of a girl “with a red diploma” working as a cleaner in Canada, the statistics of the Financial Times about the returns returning in the Russian Federation due to difficulties with legalization and searching for work, and the Movses Gazaryan is being attached: Movses Gazaryan is taken:
“In the countries of the Western community there is no need for Russia and Russians. Moreover, they were faced with attitude not as people of the second, but as to people of twenty -second grades ... This is such a full -fledged attitude towards our country, our society. ”
All this washing the emigrant bones in the prime time of federal TV-especially against the backdrop of the full block of Twitter in Russia-seems absurd, including the heroes of the above programs. Without even having a minimum idea of the state of affairs in the relocantic environment, it is extremely difficult to believe the conclusions of the leading and experts of Russia 24: they either act with a one-sided and biased analysis of some particular case, or make gross actual mistakes-as with reference to the non-existent study of the “Novaya newspaper Europe”.
Such propaganda is designed exclusively for uninformed segments of the population. The consumer of such “journalism” is unlikely to be inclined to critically analyze and check it.
The main conclusion that can be made on the basis of comparing these four plots C, for example, the same program about Shenderovich from 2014: the quality of state propaganda is steadily declining.
In the transfer of a ten-year-old presenter Evgeny Popov (now the State Duma deputy), to prove the conditional thesis “Shenderovich-a bastard, the comparison of Sochi-2014 and Berlin-1936-unacceptable” built a whole system of historical references, the presentation of alternative points of view of other oppositions (!) And the opinions of more convincing experts-while all the same Christmas. The hug, in the manipulation of public opinion, she succeeded more than the "political scientists" Gazaryan and Nazarenko.
As I already wrote in the material about the operation “Doppelganger”, internal propaganda against the background of strengthening the Kremlin’s dictatorship in recent years has been very relaxed due to the more intensive use of “direct methods” of persuasion-repression and violence. Potentially, this phenomenon can lead to absolutely discrediting television as a source of information in the eyes of all thinking Russians.
