In total, 20 drones were shot down over the air defense area. They fell in Podolsk, Ramenskoye, Lyubertsy, Domodedovo and Kolomna. Several more UAVs nevertheless flew to residential buildings in Ramenskoye and crashed into houses on four streets: Vysokovoltnaya, Stakhanovskaya, Fabrichnaya, and also on Sportivny Proezd.
A 46-year-old woman was killed when a drone hit a house on Sportivny Proezd. According to Shot, the deceased's name is Zinaida Akhmedova. She lived on the 10th floor in a one-room apartment. Also, after the drone hit, a fire started on the 11th and 12th floors of the building; in total, 54 of the 102 apartments were damaged, and three people had to be hospitalized.
On Vysokovoltnaya Street, the UAV crashed into an apartment on the 9th floor, but apparently did not explode. Due to the threat of an explosion from drone debris, five houses in the area were evacuated, Shot writes.

During the drone attack at the Moscow airports Vnukovo, Domodedovo and Zhukovsky, the reception and departure of aircraft was temporarily suspended. A drone completely fell on the runway of the latter - a photo with the burning remains of the UAV was published by military telegram channels.
Due to the closure of the airport during the UAV attack, queues formed at the check-in counters at Vnukovo, and about 40 flights were delayed, RIA Novosti writes. According to passengers, the wait is about two hours.
The UAV attack affected ten regions. In addition to the Moscow region, drones were also shot down in Bryansk (72 UAVs), Kursk (14), Tula (13), Belgorod (8), Kaluga (7), Voronezh (5), Lipetsk (4) and Oryol (1) regions. Thus, the Ministry of Defense claims, they managed to intercept 144 drones.
This strike is comparable to the most massive UAV attack on Russian territory, which occurred on September 1. Then the Ministry of Defense reported the destruction of 158 drones. A comparable attack also occurred on August 14, when the Russian military claimed to have destroyed 117 drones over eight regions.

Based on the attack, the Investigative Committee opened a criminal case for a terrorist attack (Part 3 of Article 205 of the Criminal Code).
Let us recall that at the end of August, Ukrainian UAVs attacked residential buildings in Saratov and Engels: the drones damaged the tallest building in the Volga region . In general, as Vorstka calculated, after the April attack by Ukrainian UAVs, when drones attacked targets in Tatarstan , Russia’s potentially vulnerable territory for attacks by the Ukrainian army expanded to 1.35 million square kilometers. There are seven million-plus cities on it.
