In Bashkortostan, two young men were arrested for urinating on an armored personnel carrier at the memorial to those killed in local wars

The Neftekamsk City Court sent two local residents to pre-trial detention center accused of desecrating symbols of military memory (Part 4 of Article 354.1 of the Criminal Code). This was reported by the press service of the courts of Bashkortostan.

According to the security forces, on September 9 they “urinated on the memorial complex “Participants in local wars, military conflicts and those who died in the line of duty to protect the interests of the Fatherland.” All this was filmed on a phone camera by an unnamed girl.

According to the Bashinform agency, those arrested are 20 and 21 years old. They were detained on September 11th. The publication clarifies that the young men urinated on a mothballed armored personnel carrier.
