After each, practically gangster disassembly, someone laughs at official propaganda-the main thing, they say, is not to be like in the nineties. Well, after shooting at Wildberries, many began to say that the nineties returned. Or return.
It is clear that such statements are metaphors. But behind them is a huge success of the very propaganda that we laugh at. Moreover, it was successful in the pollution of not only the “Putin majority”, but also completely liberal people with good speech.
The statement of the return of the nineties, based on a large -scale shootout with human victims, means that the speakers accepted this concept of the "dashing nineties", which Putin tirelessly promotes. The time of bandits, chaos, hopelessness. Then he came, put things in order, and everything became good. The liberal speakers do not agree with what it became good, but they do not argue with the assessments of that period. They ignore the constructive of the nineties in the same way as some Margarita Simonyan.
The nineties, if you look not at separate trees, but at the forest, were time not only and not so much decay and, accordingly, chaos, clowns in raspberry jackets with gold chains, as well as construction. A market economy was created - from scratch, after three generations, when there was not only private property, but also trade - any trade operation, in addition to the state, was declared a crime.
The current well -being of megacities, which has not yet destroyed even the war, is based on this achievement.
Then the members of the parliament, which also appeared precisely during this period, became Sakharov, Kovalev, Afanasyev, Yushenkov, Starovoi and dozens of other wonderful people. And they did not get into the parliament as a result of bribery and intrigues, but by the will of people who voted for them, who for the first time in many decades got the opportunity to vote. Of course, there were also a lot of any punks and candid bandits in the then parliaments. But, firstly, they got there by the will of voters, and secondly, now there is no less such an audience in the Duma. But Sakharov is not visible. In the nineties of Navalny, he would definitely be in parliament, like many in prisons today and expelled from the country. Evgeny Grigoryevich Yasin no accident called his nineties dedicated to the “Echo” “Time of Hopes”.

Naturally, there was a lot of negativity. The old state died. The new one was just created. And many people remained in ruins-without experience in life in such a situation and without any help.
Many did not try to do anything, they simply waited for everything to work out. Someone solved their problems with criminal methods-not necessarily with the help of shooting, but acted behind the line or on the verge of the law. The law, however, also changed, and where his line was not clear. And someone was looking for and found non-criminal ways of life in the new conditions. For example, shuttles. They appeared thanks to the decree on freedom of trade and open borders. We probably will never know how many Russian families have experienced difficult times thanks to these women and men with huge bags. Some of them then returned to normal professional work, someone, having felt a taste for freedom, went into business.
By the way, by the end of the nineties, many growth diseases began to overcome. And law enforcement began to appear normal-slowly, but still, and raspberry jackets went somewhere. And not because they were shot all - just life became different.
If it weren’t for a terrible crime - the Chechen war that poisoned the emerging state - then perhaps Putin would have been nor, and everything would have gotten a little.
The repetition of some phenomena, characteristic of the nineties - here Kashpirovsky again in the arena - does not mean that we are returning at that time. If a person slowly climbed the stairs, stopped and stood in the middle, and then, from the very top, Kubaroma rolled down, then you can’t say that he returned to the step at which he stopped. He just rolled up. And he feels at that moment not at all like when he rose, even with difficulty.
But some moments, of course, coincide. And the basis of coincidences is the lack of trust in the state, both then and now. Then - because it was still very weak and unprofessional, now - because it, outwardly powerful, indifferent to people or even hostile to them. Everyone sees and knows this - both by the Games of the state with pensions (disgusting games, in my opinion), and by his unwillingness to help the victims of various disasters, and by the disregard for the fate of their own soldiers.
Distrust of the state means a skeptical attitude towards all its institutions - to medicine and doctors, to education, to law enforcement agencies (and therefore the disputes of business entities are more reliable not in court - but who saw it, this court? - with the help of Kalashnikov). Someone who cannot and does not want to go along the criminal path begins to wait for a dictator-month in this situation-if Prigozhin took Moscow, many would support him. And the popularity of Stalin from the same opera. And someone refuses the rational picture of the world, hoping for miracles.
Today's Kashpirovsky is, rather, a curiosity, fooling millions of people on TV, being a deputy of the State Duma from the LDPR - from whom else? - He will not succeed. And the age is not the same, and competitors will not miss. But after all, for him, both then and now, not only his personal abilities of the showman and hypnotist, but the disbelief of people in state medicine and the inability to obtain quality services. The mystical component, by the way, was in stories with MMM and other pyramids - people believed in a miracle. In this case, a miracle is not a cure, but enrichment, that some people can contrary to laws, not only economic, but the laws of preservation, that is, contrary to common sense, make money out of nothing.

However, then all this mysticism bloomed regardless of the state, against the background of its inability or unwillingness to intervene. It was a kind of free market. Certain groups of people wanted mysticism and miracles - initiative crooks provided it to them in the form of miraculous water, which was charged on TV, or the promises of “House in Paris” (who does not remember, I quote the MMM advertising video). Now this archaic trend is in the hands of the state. This introduces the law of God in schools, reduces the clock to study English, proposes to cancel Darwin or be treated with an oak sheet with the mouth of its senior representatives. It is on state television that they say that the land is flat, and the Americans were not on the moon. This state talks about a miracle-arranged and promises to drown the British islands (it is not only about the insane aggressiveness of these threats, but in the statement that we are able to do this). And the church of this state conseches the Satan missile.
This is all not like the nineties - at all. Like the fact that then rehabilitated the dead and tortured by the Soviet regime, and now four thousand people have already canceled posthumous rehabilitation.
In the future, there will be no nineties either - do not worry and do not hope.
When this problem ends, a replacement, most likely, will come to another dictatorship, maybe no less cruel, but, there is a chance, not so crazy.
That is, we will move away from Kim Jong -un to Pinochet or Ro de U - also not sugar, but still progress. But if after a period of dictatorship we have a chance for a normal life, then its construction will go much more difficult than in the nineties. Then there was a sense of goal - integration into the Western world. Now it’s not clear where to go. Then the developed countries believed in us and helped us. Now everything is different.
But before that - to new dictatorships and their departure - we still have to survive. In the meantime, the elements of chaos, which someone will continue to call the return of the nineties, will increase simultaneously with the increase in repression and suppressing all living things. These two processes may well develop in parallel.
In our history there were periods that were similar in the nineties of the twentieth century. This is the last years of the empire after the signing of the manifesto of October 1905. As now, the country then fell into the dictatorship. This is possibly the first years of the great reforms of Alexander. But when and if the story gives us another chance, this will not be a repetition of what has already happened. But this will be a return to the same insanely difficult, but, I continue, contrary to everything, to believe, is not a hopeless task: to build, finally, a normal life in Russia.
