The family lived all year round in the house on the outskirts of the village of Zvezda in the Krasnodar Territory. Tatyana raised children and was engaged in farming. Dmitry - worked as a combine. That morning, they stood up early with Sveta: he promised his daughter to take her with him to work.

At about 10 in the morning, the combine broke. Dmitry went to the workshop, he decided not to take the light with him: the heat that day was more than 30 degrees. To the Dudins house was no more than 500 meters. First you need to go through the road and the park, then go along the path known to all local ones. Later, passers -by recalled that they saw her there.
Dmitry returned at 13 o’clock. Sveta was not at home, but children's voices came from the yard opposite. This reassured him, and he lay down to get out after the shift. At 16 o’clock he was awakened by Tatyana, who came home and did not see Sveta. Parents went around the village, interviewing the neighbors. Only an employee of the House of Culture saw the light: the girl went to drink water and lingered for a while to chat with familiar children. This did not help parents, and they turned to the district police officer, and he called a brigade with dogs.
Large -scale searches began. At first, local residents and volunteers of Lisaalet participated in them, then divers and Cossacks on horses joined them.
Strained leaflets, publications in the media and social networks spoke about the loss of the Light from people from all over the country - and hundreds of volunteers from other villages and cities stretched into the star.
Village rumors
Sveta's parents did not immediately join the search. The police checked them on a polygraph, and searches in the house: investigators had to make sure that the closest relatives were not related to the loss of the child. The police did not have questions for the family, but this did not convince the locals.
The inhabitants of the village had their own versions of what happened, which they shared with journalists. For example, they said that the mother could kill her daughter herself because she allegedly abuses alcohol. And also that the light could be stolen for debts, because Tatyana is supposedly involved in the drug business and, perhaps, takes drugs herself: "It is painfully calm ." Law enforcement officers checked rumors - everyone turned out to be fiction.
Interrogations and searches took place with other residents of the star. Investigators even drained street toilets: with special machines they pumped out the contents, took him outside the site and carefully examined it in search of the remains of Sveta.
Their efforts only filed a conflict between the inhabitants of the village and the Dudins family: “It was that I would go and they will stop me and say:“ When will it stop? How much can we turn it over at home? ”” Tatyana Dudina recalled .
The neighbors associated interrogations in their homes with the fact that close to the missing Sveta demand this.
“Some people began to aggress me, like, I poke it with a finger, from whom to look. And what do I have to do with it? I also had searches, just as I was interrogated endlessly. They work on their own. Every day, all the more important, everything became. One neighbor ran out at me, began to yell - the police even offered to write a statement to her, but I did not, ”Tatyana told the journalist Mediazones.
There was also a rumor in the village that the child allegedly abducted the gypsies. Checking this information, the police visited all large camps in the district, but did not find the light. One day, unknown people began to call the Sveta parents, saying that they were taking the girl home from the camp. All week, parents hoped and went to the station to Krasnodar, but the calls were someone's evil draw.
Recognition of murder
Time passed, but reliable hooks did not appear. The investigation was at a dead end. And then a new suspect appeared in the case.
In the summer of 2018, the local teenager Kirill Kuznetsov was called to the department of the Leningrad ATS. From him they immediately demanded to write a confession. He refused - replied that the last time he saw the light a day before her disappeared. At first, Kuznetsov was threatened with beating, and after that they began to beat: the cellmate was beaten, to whom Kuznetsov returned after interrogations.
On the third day, Kuznetsov could not stand it and gave the necessary evidence. He came up with a chronology of crime: he allegedly drove on a motorcycle past Sveta, who played with her younger sister, and invited her to go to the river. The girl agreed and sat down in his stroller. From sharp braking, she hit the temple strongly. Cyril was scared and threw the body. Where - three times called different places, and each time the operatives did not find the remains. After that, they took Kuznetsov back to the camera, where they continued to beat him. On the fifth day, the police surrendered and let him go.
Kirill Kuznetsov said that he had wounds from a stamp on his shoulder, abrasions on his forehead and knees. It was possible to fix the beatings the second time: the examination in the village of Leningradskaya concluded that the teenager simply fell. Then he went with his mother to the neighboring village, Pavlovskaya. There, the forensic expert recorded the damage, but qualified them as not harmful to health.
Kuznetsov is not the only teenager from the star who was beaten in the presence of the police. By the time, among local youth, stories were already going on how young people were first detained for several days, and after they returned home with bruises and abrasions. Investigators claimed that adolescents invent everything, but after the story with Kuznetsov, the beatings stopped.

"Dogs bite the baby"
For three years, parents did not know what happened to her daughter and whether she was alive at all. They continued to search: they traveled around the villages, asked people, and stuck orientations. At first they hoped for the help of psychics, but then they stopped believing them - instead they began to go to temples and pray. “If it weren’t for prayer, then the forces would have ended, probably. <...> We constantly see the signs that our girl is alive. I don’t know how to explain to you, it seems that she is going on, then I suddenly hear her name. Or we are already crazy, ”said Tatyana, crying, in a conversation with reporters.
The matter did not move from the place until in October 2019 he was handed over to Lieutenant Otaru Namoev. A year before the disappearance of Sveta, he graduated from the university and only recently became a senior investigator of the first department for the investigation of particularly important cases of management of the IC in the Krasnodar Territory.
First of all, investigators restored the last route of Sveta - using the materials of the criminal case and conversations with residents.
The girl’s path began in the field where she said goodbye to her stepfather, passed through the village park, then walked along the path that led to the house - and broke 300-400 meters before him.
Something happened with Sveta near her house. Therefore, investigators began to check the closest neighbors of the Dudina family. The houses and plots of the inhabitants were again searched, but they did not find anything. Then the investigation went to the trick.
The operatives launched a duck among the inhabitants. During interrogations and just during the communication of the Namoev and his colleagues, people told people that they only needed the girl’s body: they say, the police think that the cause of death was the attack of dogs, and it is only necessary to give parents to bury the child. The calculation was that the offender was tired of living in tension and wants the case to be closed. In addition, the searches passed almost the entire village, and the offender could not know about it - and if so, he clearly understood that he would also touch him sooner or later.
A few months later, in January 2020, on the metal shield of the clinic in the neighboring village of Pervomaisky, someone wrote in print letters: “20 06 2016, the baby bites the dogs in the field opposite the massacre near the forest belt.” Namoev did not expect the trick to work and the offender would peck so quickly.
The message was written in chalk. Experts took crumbs of chalk and sent them for analysis. There were enough traces of DNA only to determine: the inscription was left by the man. Later, on one of the garages of the village, another hint was noticed: the card on which the little man was drawn and the signature “here is 20 06 2016 child”.
Investigators, operatives and volunteers went to the field, which was hinted at the inscriptions. They began to search. More than six hours passed before they found the first bone. The invited forensic expert visually confirmed that she belongs to a person. They continued searches in the same place and found 16 more fragments of the skeleton: mainly ribs and several milk teeth. The examination found that the remains belong to the missing light.
"I am something to you now"
Investigators remained to find a criminal. They had a sample of his handwriting, in which several features were distinguished. For example, the author did not set the point in the date: “20 06 2016”. Another dash in the letter "Y" looked like an emphasis. Investigators took samples of handwriting first from the men of the village of Pervomaisky, then from the inhabitants of the star. The neighbor of the deceased girl, 63-year-old Nikolai Mishin, also came to the department.
The man was confused and was noticeably nervous, which alerted the investigators. Mishina decided to check on a polygraph. He was asked several questions and monitored the reaction. When the question "How did you learn about the disappearance of Sveta Dudina?" The answer option “from personal participation” was sounded, Mishin showed a “ significant response ”.
By the end of the conversation, the expert came to the following conclusions: Mishin made inscriptions about the girl; He dealt at least one blow to light on the day of her disappearance; did something to make Sveta disappear; I saw the world dead. When the results were shown to Mishin, he sighed and said that he was dreaming of Sveta, he was tired and wants it to stop - therefore he was ready to tell the truth.
On June 20, 2016, he went to the market with his neighbor early in the morning. At about nine in the morning he returned home and began to do business - one version, repair his “six”, on the other - to repair the barn. The gate was open. Sveta ran into the courtyard and, according to Mishin, began to distract him. He drove her away, but after five to ten minutes the girl returned.

And he hit it just on it, ”Mishin recalled during the investigative experiment and showed with the help of a stick and mannequin, as he struck. When the girl fell, Mishin kicked her on the ribs. Perhaps she no longer felt this: according to forensic experts, death on the head came almost instantly. When Mishin realized what had happened, he shook his body in a blanket, plunged the “six” into the trunk and took him to the neighboring village.
The surveyed residents of the star described Mishin as a man with an explosive character. Mishin himself explained the murder with an emotional state: supposedly the girl teased him, so he flared up and struck.
“He never complained to us that Sveta was bothering him. There was only one unpleasant episode: their daughter and girlfriend indulged in - they called him the door, then they ran away, ”Tatyana recalled .
In a conversation with journalists, Namoev said that to find a child’s killer and to ensure that he was punished, was a matter of principle for the entire investigative group. It was important that Mishin would give honest testimony and do not take on someone else's crime, as it was with the previous suspects. During the interrogation, Mishin even ordered pizza so that he felt comfortable and safe. It seemed to Namoev that Mishin himself wanted to tell everything, because he was tormented by his deed.
Incorrects of the new version
However, shortly before the court, Mishin began to deny that he was involved in the murder, and say that he gave the first testimonies under pressure.
Now Mishin told another version. On the morning of June 20, he took a neighbor to the market to buy poultry feed. He returned home for a while and almost immediately went to the village of Pavlovskaya - to a meeting of the combines, which was organized by his boss, the owner of the company. Before the Pavlovskaya hour, Mishin could not be at home at the time of Sveta’s disappearance. He assured that this was confirmed by a recording from video surveillance cameras, which hangs on the school building on the road from the village.
However, the school principal told reporters that the camera takes only the path leading from the gate to the porch. The road is poorly visible in the frame, so it is impossible to distinguish either the number or the brand of the passing car. In addition, the records are stored for a month, so the lawyer could not see them after three and a half years. Journalists also called the owner of the company, where Mishin worked in 2016, he said that he did not hold any meetings on the day of the disappearance of Sveta.
Mishin did not deny in court that he drew hints on the garage and the hospital. But here he found an explanation. According to the new version, he learned from the note from the note that he found in his mother’s house in January 2020. The note was left by the brother, who died in 2018. He drank a lot and, as Mishin claimed, in 2016 sat drunk behind the wheel, knocked down the light, and buried the body in the field. And the brother even wanted to admit the murder, but did not have time: "He simply said:" I am to blame, they knocked out a man. " He did not say specifically who. "Now I will smoke and say." It turns out that he fell and everything, ”Mishin told reporters.
Journalists interviewed her brother’s acquaintances and found out that no one saw him at all to get drunk behind the wheel. The car, on which the girl was allegedly shot down, was disposed of back in 2014, two years before the disappearance of Sveta. The injuries that the forensic examination revealed during the inspection of the remains are not like the consequences of an accident - this is rather a punch on the head and foot on the ribs, which Mishin spoke about during the investigative experiment. Then he spoke of his own free will, and also pointed to the place where the body was buried - and the body was found there.
But no one saw a note: Mishin did not show it.
Before the court, Mishin began to tell that he was cruelly tortured during interrogations: they squeezed his fingers with a wrench so that they “were all like a boxer”, and also put a bag on his head. The data of the forensic examination, which was conducted after interrogations, refuted this.
Jury court
The process began in the Krasnodar Regional Court in June 2020. Mishin chose a jury - hoped that they would stand on his side. According to Tatyana Dudina, at a meeting, Mishin pretended to be “deaf, blind and unhappy” in order to “feel” the jury: “When I cried, I was taken out of the hall, and when he said, how he was beaten, what a poor, unfortunate old man was not even stopped. And at that moment I could not get up and say that it was not true, that this was not. Therefore, they regretted him, not me, ”says Sveta's mother.
Mishin was recognized as innocent and released directly from the courtroom.
Remembering that moment, Tatyana Dudina could not restrain her tears: “I turned to the state prosecutor and ask: where should I go? What should I do now? How to live on? The state prosecutor herself was confused, she herself did not understand what was happening. "
“Probably, it was able to convince them that he himself behaved very, very emotionally and made it clear to his behavior that he was illegally in the bench that he was beaten. And something that happened is definitely his brother’s fault, that this version was not fully worked out. First of all, of course, they played emotions, ”thought Anton Lopatin, senior assistant to the prosecutor in a conversation with reporters.
“I did not have a financial opportunity to come - of course, this strongly influenced,” Tatyana Dudina, who visited only two court sessions, told Mediazone.
Journalists, citing a source in the regional prosecutor’s office, suggested that the college initially shared five by three in favor of the victim. Perhaps one of them doubted, and with the equality of forces, according to the law, you need to sit for another three hours. In order not to waste time, they could recognize Mishin as innocent. Anton Lopatin added : “I would like to say about the emotions of the jury. They asked the judge: "What now, they will release him?" It seems that they did not fully believe in which power they were endowed. "
Immediately after the meeting, Mishin returned to the star - and again settled in the same house.
The neighbors again
Tatyana said that she had long wanted to leave the star, but could not: the family did not even have money to pay for mobile communications. Мишин жил по соседству с родителями и сестрой Светы несколько недель. Гособвинение подало апелляцию. Суд отменил оправдательный приговор в марте 2021 года и отправил дело на повторное рассмотрение. Летом 2023 года новый состав присяжных признал Мишина виновным. Он провел еще два месяца в СИЗО, прежде чем получил окончательный приговор: 11 лет колонии строгого режима и миллион рублей компенсации морального вреда семье Светы.
