Employees of boiler houses in Chekhov recorded a collective video message to the government, in which they said that they had not been paid their salaries for three weeks, and the boiler houses themselves were in terrible condition and were not ready for the heating season. “Caution, Moscow” writes about this.
“The heating season will simply be disrupted, people will freeze, not to mention the fact that we will all quit and leave. People who have worked for 30 years are going to write a letter of resignation - the salaries are meager, our boiler houses are in a very terrible state,” boiler house workers say in their appeal. There are several dozen of them in the video.
City authorities are not taking action to fix the problems and claim that the boiler houses are ready to start, workers say.
“Yes, not a single boiler house is ready to start up for the heating season, not a single one. Even if they launch, they will all be covered with a copper basin and fly up into the air,” the boiler house employees emphasized.
According to the authorities' decree , heating in Chekhov in hospitals, kindergartens and schools was to be provided on September 29, in residential buildings - from October 7.
