The civil association "Compass" held a protest at a conference of right-wing Russian-speaking speakers in Jerusalem.
On October 20, the Begin State Center in Jerusalem hosted the conference “From October to October. Year of the War “Iron Swords””, where right-wing Russian-speaking speakers participated.
Kompas activists scattered leaflets with quotes from conference participants and sprayed red paint on them. The leaflets, for example, quote a tweet from Tamara Eidelman, a speaker at the conference: “I’m looking at the footage of Israel’s attack on the Gaza Strip and experiencing bloodthirsty gloating - come on, Tsahal, hit these bastards some more,” and also replicas blogger Ezra More: “Not during the war, but after we finish disposing of this generation of sheep fuckers.”
Compass accompanied the quotes with leaflets indicating the number of Palestinian refugees and minors who died due to the war in the Gaza Strip. A source close to Compass confirmed to DOXA that the action took place at this conference in Jerusalem. In the Kompas video, activists are scattering leaflets near the entrance to the Begin Center while singing one of the most famous songs of the French Revolution Ah! ça ira.
