The head of Chechnya, Ramzan Kadyrov, claims that as a result of the drone attack on the so -called Russian Special Forces University (RUS), Ukrainian prisoners allegedly died in Gudermes.
“As I said earlier, there are no victims from our part as a result of the attack. But! They are among Ukrainian prisoners. Each strategic facility contains up to 10 Ukrainian prisoners, including on the territory of Rus. Kiev, trying to harm us today,” wrote the head of Chechnya in Telegraph.
There are no evidence of these statements by Kadyrov.
On the eve of Chechnya, she was subjected to the first officially confirmed attack of drones - as a result, the roof of one of the buildings of the University of Special Forces, where they prepared mercenaries for war against Ukraine from all over Russia, lit up in Gudermes.
Radio Liberty publishes a satellite picture in which smoke rising from the roof of the training center is visible. According to the main version, we are talking about the consequences of the attack of the Ukrainian drone on the target in Chechnya.
Ukrainian sources put forward another version: that the drone was launched from the territory of neighboring Dagestan, and the attack is connected with the conflict around the Wildberries marketplace, in which Kadyrov intervened. The head of Chechnya even announced the preparation of the attempt on him, in which he publicly accused the member of the Federation Council of the billionaire from Dagestan Suleiman Kerimov and two State Duma deputies - Rizvan Kurbanov, who also came from Dagestan, and Berakhoeva Barakhoeva from Ingushetia.
"Russian University of Special Forces" was founded in Gudermes in 2013, since this year has been named after Vladimir Putin. According to the Chechen authorities, since the beginning of the Russian invasion of Ukraine, thousands of people who later went to war were trained there.
