Drones attacked Dagestan for the first time

The governor of the region, Sergei Melikov, announced the downing of a UAV over the Caspian Sea. He noted that there is an operational headquarters in Dagestan and called “not to post photos and video materials that could assist the enemies.”

“I want to assure that all decisions will be made in a timely manner for the safety of the residents of the republic,” Melikov wrote.

Telegram channels close to the security forces report at least one casualty: Baza writes that as a result of the explosion, a 16-year-old girl received shrapnel wounds and was taken to the hospital.

Makhachkala airport has suspended operations indefinitely due to the consequences of the air attack, state agencies report .

The Russian Ministry of Defense did not report any drones over the territory of Dagestan. On the morning of November 6, the department reported the downing of two UAVs over the Kursk and Oryol regions.
