Refugees from Sudzha, left homeless due to the offensive of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, went to a spontaneous rally in Kursk. Authorities said it was an "illegal action"

Several dozen residents of Sudzha, who were forced to leave their city due to the offensive of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, gathered on the afternoon of November 10 for a spontaneous rally in the central square of Kursk, reports the publication “7x7”.

Anatoly Drogan, a representative of the Kursk region administration, addressed the audience. He demanded that people disperse and suggested writing a collective appeal in the public reception room.

When the protesters refused to do this, the official said that they had staged a “public illegal rally” and asked to see the people who organized it. In response, the residents of Sudzha demanded that the authorities recognize that there is a war in the region and evacuate the people remaining in the city captured by the Ukrainian Armed Forces. A representative of the Kursk administration promised the rally participants to organize a meeting with Governor Alexei Smirnov on November 12.
