Two fallen drones found in Moldova after Russian attack on Ukraine

Two fallen drones were found on November 10 on the territory of Moldova, the country's police reported.

One drone was found near the village of Boroseniy Noi in the Riksani region in northwestern Moldova. The crash site was cordoned off to examine the UAV.

Earlier in the day, another drone was found near the village of Farladani in the Causeni region in southeastern Moldova. It has already been examined by specialists.

After an initial examination, it was established that this is a Russian-made Shahed-type drone that does not contain explosives, the police statement said.

According to preliminary data, it was launched by Russian troops as part of a massive attack on Ukraine on the night of November 10.

The head of the Moldovan Foreign Ministry, Mihai Popsoi, condemned the violation of the country's airspace by two Russian drones and said that they endangered the lives of Moldovan citizens.

As the command of the Air Force of the Ukrainian Armed Forces reported , last night Russian troops attacked Ukraine with a record number of drones. A total of 145 drones were launched across the country. The Ukrainian military managed to shoot down 62 Russian UAVs, and another 67 were “locally lost” in different regions of Ukraine. Also, ten drones left the airspace of Ukraine in the direction of Moldova, Belarus and Russia, the Ukrainian Armed Forces added.

The monitoring project “Belarusski Gayun” confirmed that during the night Russian attack on Ukraine, at least ten drones flew into Belarus. According to observers, the drones passed through the “Belarusian corridor” of Slavutich-Pripyat, flew from Chernobyl and Belarusian Loev, and flew to the Mozyr region. Previously, three “martyrs” disappeared over the territory of Belarus.
