TASS announced the name of the new wife of ex-mayor of Sochi Alexei Kopaygorodsky

The Moscow petty bourgeois court arrested almost 100 million rubles in the account of Yanina Kopaygorodskaya, the wife of the ex-mayor of Sochi, linking the funds to his case. TASS reports this. The defense claims that the money belongs to the bank and was taken for business, but the appeal court upheld the seizure. Lawyers consider the seizure of property to be pressure on Kopaygorodsky and his circle.

In 2023, “Notebook” wrote about the romantic relationship between Alexei Kopaygorodsky and Yanina Davlatova. The publication claimed that Davlatova owns luxury real estate and cars used by the mayor of Sochi, and allegedly has significant influence on him and city affairs. The publication called the woman “fortune teller Yanina” and retold rumors that Davlatova not only manages assets, but also participates in night rituals with local developers.

The article has now been removed from the Notepad website. “Protocol” found a saved version of the material dated May 29, 2023 in the online archive of the Wayback Machine.

In the spring of 2023, “Protocol” released the material “Kopaigorodsky. The Wolf from Sochi”, in which we published the documents available to the editors, which confirmed at that time that Alexey Kopaygorodsky was married to Anastasia Gredina. “Protocol” estimated the value of the property of the wife of the mayor of Sochi at 350 million rubles.

Until today, except for Notepad and Kommersant, no one has publicly voiced information about a possible romantic connection between Kopaygorodsky and the “fortune teller Yanina.” In the TASS publication, Yanina bears the surname of the former mayor of Sochi, which suggests that she may be the new official wife of Alexei Kopaygorodsky.

Kopaygorodsky resigned as mayor of Sochi in May 2024. In September, he volunteered for the war with Ukraine, but was detained and arrested in September 2024. He is suspected of participating in an organized crime group and illegally selling places in cemeteries. Searches took place in the homes of suspects, including former deputy mayor Burlev and the head of the Khostinsky district, Savin. Earlier in this case, mayoral adviser Rodion Pishchur was arrested, who is considered the leader of a group that earned up to 15 million rubles a month from the sale of burial places.
