The head of the Sudzhansky district was fired after the protest of local residents

The Governor of the Kursk Region Alexei Smirnov dismissed the head of the Sudzhansky district Alexander Bogachev during a meeting with local residents. This was reported by the Telegram channel "Suda Native" and the publication "7x7" .

The question of the dismissal of Bogachev was one of the first to be discussed. Residents of the Sudzhansky district said that they had never spoken to them since the APU invasion of the Kursk region on August 6.

Smirnov was present at the meeting in person. The hall made his decision to resign Bogachev by applause. Residents shouted to him "out of here!"

• On November 10, the residents of Sudzhi, who were forced to leave their homes due to the APU, went to a rally in the center of Kursk. They complained about the lack of housing certificates and expressed dissatisfaction with the head of the district by Bogachev, who did not respond to their requests and did not help them.
• Several officials came to the protesters and offered to hold a meeting with the authorities of the region on November 12. Bogachev himself did not go to the protesters.
• In October, the acting Minister of Construction of the Kursk Region, Alexander Afonin, said that the residents of the Sudzhansky district are inappropriate to provide housing certificates, as this will lead to the outflow of the working population.
• According to the Governor of the Kursk Region, Alexei Smirnov, the total costs of restoring damaged objects in the Kursk region after attacks from Ukraine will exceed 700 billion rubles.
