Chronicles.Media" presents the most comprehensive guide to date on classmates of Russian President Vladimir Putin and their joint career path. Offshore custodians, security officials, security officers and loyal comrades from the 1990s in fraud. Of the 120 graduates of the Law Faculty of Leningrad University, more than 20 people in one way or another advanced in their careers following the future head of state while he was strengthening his power . Nobody wrote about the other 25.

The plane from St. Petersburg landed at Gorno-Altaisk airport on August 4, 2017. At least 17 people descended down the ladder to the land of the shamans. Already on August 6, the guests also flew back together. Passengers also bought round-trip tickets together, Chronicles.Media found out. This usually happens when someone invites people somewhere and pays for the trip.

All these lovers of Altai graduated from the law department of Leningrad State University (now St. Petersburg State University) in 1975. Here are their names:
Their lives turned out differently. One of their classmates, Volodya Putin, even became the president of Russia.
From August 1 to August 3, 2017, the head of state vacationed in neighboring Tyva with Sergei Shoigu, who then held the post of Minister of Defense of the Russian Federation. The world-famous half-naked fishing shots were taken in those forests. On August 5, as the Kremlin press service reported, Putin visited Kirov. That same evening, as reported by the Altai Mountain News publication, he returned on an unofficial visit to Siberia, where he met with “personal friends.”
One of Putin’s classmates, who flew to Gorno-Altaisk in 2017, anonymously confirmed to Chronicles.Media that it was an alumni meeting attended by the president. According to the woman, it was not Putin who organized the rally, but other classmates whose names she did not name. After 2017, the company no longer gathered, especially when the covid pandemic began. They allegedly chose Altai only because there are beautiful places there. True, another classmate of the president, Olga Bakalinskaya, keeps photographs from alumni meetings after 2020 on her VKontakte page. Classmates there pose with lowered medical masks, which means that former Leningrad State University students met already during the coronavirus pandemic. Judging by the photographs, at such meetings the guests were entertained by pop stars: Philip Kirkorov, Laima Vaikule and others.

But let's return to Altai. The places there are truly amazing, but they are also special for Putin. Since the mid-2000s, the head of state has become addicted to antler baths made from the antlers of deer, which live in the mountain forests of the republic, the Project publication wrote . As Olga Bakalinskaya, a classmate of the president, said on her Vkontakte page in 2021, the antlers are cut off with a regular saw and “the process itself is not a very pleasant sight.”

In those parts, Gazprom even built the Altai Compound resort complex. Local residents nicknamed it “Putin’s dacha.” In the spring of 2024, the Podvorye burned down .

Just a few years ago, on the website of St. Petersburg State University one could find a list of 120 graduates of the law faculty of 1975. Now this publication has been preserved only in Internet archives . The university website only contains data about nine students. In 2010, The New Times magazine published a list of 29 Putin classmates with short biographies. This listing turned out to be longer than what could be found on the university website. Over the past 14 years, some of them have made an even more dizzying career, while others have faded into oblivion.
Some of Putin's classmates are very famous. For example, the chairman of the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation , Alexander Bastrykin , and the head of the Supreme Court of the Russian Federation, Irina Podnosova . Chronicles.Media has already written about the biography of the latter, but no one has reported on several people, or not everything has been told.
For example, Vladislav Kopylov . Journalists have already reported about this person. The Project publication named him the nominal holder of Putin’s alleged offshore. In particular, the Putinka vodka brand was registered with this offshore company for some time. In the early 1990s, the young lawyer met Putin’s friends Andrei Fursenko and Yuri Kovalchuk. Fursenko now holds the position of assistant to the president, and Kovalchuk, according to the US authorities, is Putin’s personal banker. In the early 2000s, Kopylov began running a business with other friends of his university friend - cellist Sergei Roldugin and media manager Oleg Rudnov. The first became known as "Putin's wallet" after the international Panama Papers investigation. The second, according to the Project, took over some expensive real estate properties used by the Russian president. The Project’s source said that Kopylov is “just a homeless person, both in essence and in appearance.” Nevertheless, he turned out to be not just a “homeless person”, but a classmate of Putin.
It is also known that, together with Roldugin, Kopylov established the non-profit partnership “Support for Children’s Sports” and became its leader. One of the employees of this legal entity, according to the organization’s reporting, appears to be Kopylov’s wife, Svetlana Milyukova. From 2020 to 2023, she sat in the Public Chamber of St. Petersburg. Now the former social activist sells dietary supplements on Vkontakte.

As Chronicles.Media found out, Kopylov was among those who flew to Altai in 2017, and is also on the list of graduates of St. Petersburg State University.
Also, “Chronicles.Media” for the first time reports that another classmate of Putin, Vitaly Mozyakov, after finishing his government career, became involved in business with the influential senator from Dagestan Suleiman Kerimov.
We will also separately mention Irina Sechikova (nee Yasnovskaya) who flew to Altai. It is known that she has lived in Slovakia for many years and collaborates with Russian cultural government organizations. In 2005, Nezavisimaya Gazeta called Sechikova a Slovak journalist. However, for some reason, no one said that the husband of Putin’s classmate is the former Deputy Minister of Culture of Slovakia Ivan Sechik. He received the position in 2006, in the first government of the country's current Prime Minister Robert Fico. In November 2024, Politico magazine placed him on its list of right-wing populist saboteurs of the European Union. Ivan Sechik now works as an assistant professor at the Faculty of Mass Communications at the private Pan-European University.

Some of Putin’s classmates, 25 people, had never appeared in the media before. Chronicles.Media fills this gap.
For example, we found Svetlana Ilyashevich on a saved copy of the St. Petersburg State University website. The full namesake of the law graduate lives in Estonia. Local newspaper Sonumileht profiled Ilyashevich in 1995 as a major case investigator for the Central Bureau of Investigation.

Ilyashevich’s namesake, Victor, according to the St. Petersburg State University website, graduated from the Law Faculty of Leningrad State University two years later, in 1977. Classmates have the same email and phone number. Apparently, this is the husband of the former investigator.
In 2003, Viktor Ilyashevich came to the attention of the local police. According to the law of the country, all citizens who served in the security, intelligence or counterintelligence agencies of the Third Reich or the USSR were required to report themselves to Estonian law enforcement officers. Ilyashevich did not do this. Therefore, the police published information on their website that the man served in the KGB from 1977 to 1991. Putin, by the way, joined the state security agencies in 1975, also immediately after graduating from university.
In 2017, Svetlana Ilyashevich flew to Altai, and on the website of the Estonian Law Enforcement Veterans Club you can find a photograph of the Leningrad State University graduate celebrating the New Year 2020 with her former colleagues.

Among the graduates is Lieutenant Colonel Oleg Vinogradov , who joined the KGB in 1975 along with the future president. Vinogradov was born in 1949, as stated in the memoirs of employees of the St. Petersburg KGB-FSB “The investigation continues...”, published on the website of the Council of Veterans of the St. Petersburg FSB Directorate. In 2019, the artist Mikhail Shemyakin, who participated in its publication, presented this book to Putin for the cameras.

From 1982 to 1988, Vinogradov worked as a senior investigator of the Investigation Department of the Department. He remained in the KGB until 1992 (Putin submitted his resignation in 1991). Oleg Vinogradov died in 2009.
The same memoirs talk about another classmate of Putin - Igor Naritsin , the son of the director of the Bolshoi Drama Theater Leonid Naritsin. The future security officer entered Leningrad State University a year earlier than Putin, in 1969. Then, “for family reasons,” he took academic leave, so he graduated in 1975 along with the future president. Together they went to work for the KGB. Naritsin served there all his life and died in 2000.
The next classmate, about whom we are talking for the first time, is Igor Gazin . It is known about him that until 2001 he was building an army career. Since the 2000s, he has worked in various commercial companies, but in 2011 he became deputy general director of Gazprom Export. In 2017, Gazin flew to an alumni meeting in Gorno-Altaisk.
No one called Putin and Yuri Matyushin classmates. However, in 2022, the Litfond auction house sold two photographs (a portrait of Putin and a photo from a meeting of Leningrad State University graduates). On one of the photographs there is a caption: “V. Putin is lucky for Nastya. 07/08/2011". As stated in the description of the lot, Putin’s classmate Matyushin took the autograph for his daughter. According to Chronicle.Media, Matyushin worked as a legal consultant at the military state corporation Vympel.

Another hitherto unknown classmates of Putin’s – the spouses Vladimir and Valeria Dubkovsky – lead an interesting life.
Vladimir Dubkovsky after university worked in the prosecutor's office. As stated in his biography on the website of the AST publishing house, in the 1980s he collaborated with the newspaper Leningradskaya Pravda (now St. Petersburg Vedomosti). Then he wrote scripts for documentaries for Leningrad Television and the Leningrad Film Studio of Popular Science Films. In the 1990s, he was engaged in business in the field of film production, publishing and insurance. His wife Valeria (nee Val) worked as a legal consultant after university. Later she headed the civil registry office department of the Pushkin district of Leningrad.

It seems that the most interesting part of the Dubkovskys’ life began when in 1999 they founded a certain “Academy with a program for human development” and began writing books about the meaning of life: “Nectar for the Soul”, “Roads of Love”, “Games of Gods and Men”. Also, as the writer’s biography says, he is a corresponding member of the International Academy of Informatization . This organization was formed on the site of the Moscow city reference and information office. Scientists have repeatedly criticized the “academy” as spreading pseudoscience.
Another classmate of Putin’s, about whom no one has written, is Valentin Gavrilov . His full namesake worked as a lawyer in the Leningrad region. He died in 2021. Gavrilov’s inheritance case, according to the state register of inheritance cases, was opened by notary Sergei Vymenets. Chronicles reported that it was he who provided legal services to the Putin family when they improved their living conditions in the 1990s. The publication 47news hinted that the godfather of Vymenets’s son is another classmate of Putin, Chairman of the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation Alexander Bastrykin. Vymenets appeared in the lives of many of the president’s fellow students - read more about this in the special “Graduation Album” .
Gavrilov's widow, Zinaida, served for many years as a deputy of the Rzhevka municipal district in St. Petersburg. Each time she was elected from United Russia. Gavrilova also graduated from Leningrad State University in 1975.

Another 17 of Putin’s classmates, who have not been previously discussed, have built fairly ordinary careers for law school graduates. Only two of them did not go into the legal field:
The first is Alexander Markelov . After graduation, he worked in the military prosecutor’s office of the Carpathian Military District, Chronicles.Media established. In 2000, he became one of the founders of the public organization “Board of Trustees of the St. Petersburg Suvorov Military School.” In 2016, he worked as deputy director for military training at the St. Petersburg state institution “Center for Patriotic Education of Youth “Dzerzhinets”. Was among the Altai guests in 2017.

The second is Valery Osokin . In the 2000-2010s, according to the Kontur.Focus contractor verification system, he led various companies. Then he tried to do business, but without success. He worked as an arbitration manager, but in 2020 he needed a manager himself. Osokin went bankrupt due to a loan from Sberbank for almost 200 thousand rubles. The Leningrad State University graduate did not have any property, as follows from the bankruptcy trustee’s report . Osokin's monthly income was about 7.6 thousand rubles. with a cost of living of 9.4 thousand.
You can read about all the classmates of Putin in the “graduation album” , which was compiled by “Chronicles. Media”. According to our estimates, the majority of graduates of the legal faculty of LSU of 1975 - 21 people - chose a career in law enforcement agencies. 19 became lawyers, ten went to judges. Ten successfully and did not really try to good luck in business. Five useful to Putin when he worked at the City Hall of St. Petersburg. Three more made careers around politics and the state.
Previously, a lot was told about various colleagues, St. Petersburg colleagues and childhood friends, who under Putin became one of the most influential people in Russia. Here, “Chronicles. Media” will show how the future president selected 20 people from those with whom he studied at the university. Their careers went uphill at the same time as Putin moved to the presidential chair, and then held power.
Preat this story with a quote by another classmate of the president. This is Sergey Zablodsky . He worked as a judge of the Leningrad Regional Court, in 2017 he flew to Altai, and in 2019 he resigned . In 2001, he said so about the president:
“Personally, I don’t expect anything good from him [Putin], he was still in his mind at his mind. We had two parties on our course, which did not contact each other very often. In ours there were older guys, which mainly either served in the army, or managed to work in the police or the prosecutor’s office (from where they received directions to study). And in the second, mostly young and those who are called “gray mice”. Volodya in the second was, just like Kolya Egorov, Vitya Khmarin, Sasha Bastrykin, Ilgam Ragimov ... The girls from our course mainly talked with us, and in that company they were on the course or two younger. Putin was not particularly popular then, even despite the presence of Zaporozhets. He was secretive, he didn’t love the company, he talked closely with a small circle of people already mentioned. ”

One of the supports of the president - the former director of the FSB - law enforcement officers. There are classmates among them.
One of the most famous of them is Alexei Anichin . After the university, he worked in the military prosecutor's office from Carpathian to the Far East. Then he headed the department of the Prosecutor General in the North-Western Federal District and was the deputy minister of the Ministry of Internal Affairs. Anichin is involved in the death of the auditor Sergey Magnitsky, who died in a pre -trial detention center in 2009. The subsequent “Laws of Magnitsky” in different countries of the West were the first large -scale personal sanctions against Russian Goslits.
In 2010, American Senator Ben Cardin wrote US Secretary of State Hillary Clinton:
“[Anichin] authorized a repressive criminal case against a 37-year-old lawyer to combat Sergey Magnitsky’s corruption on fabricated grounds. He rejected all the legal petitions that he received from Magnitsky for 12 months of detention without trial. He rejected Magnitsky’s petition for the exclusion of employees of the Ministry of Internal Affairs from the investigation group in the case against him, against which he testified and which he accused of fraud by $ 230 million and the expropriation of the companies of his client. ”

In 2011, Anichina was fired from his post. After, according to the Chronicle. Media, he worked in the commercial structures of the developer Miroslav Melnik and the former senator Igor Kamensky.
Another important classmate-sylobe can be called Igor Sobolevsky . In 1997, he, along with captain of the 3rd rank, Sergei Tsivilev, became the co -founder of the Nortek Law Firm in St. Petersburg. In 2007, Tsivilev married the cousin of Putin Anna. Today, the husband and wife hold federal positions of the Minister of Energy and the Deputy Minister of Defense, respectively.
In 2002, Sobolevsky defended his thesis on the topic "Administrative and legal status of the President of Russia." However, the Dissernet project found out that the graduate of the legal faculty of LSU wrote it almost completely.
In 2008-2009, Sobolevsky worked as the deputy chairman of the investigator at the prosecutor's office, which was headed by Alexander Bastrykin. Sobolevsky was resigned when Spanish law enforcement officers had evidence that the Russian security forces may be related to the leader of the Tambov organized criminal community (OPS) Gennady Petrov. A few years later, The Insider studied the case materials and published records of telephone wiretaps between Sobolevsky and Petrov. From them it follows that Sobolevsky acted as a liaison between Petrov and Bastrykin. The latter, followed from the published negotiations, received a position not without the participation of the leader of the OPS.
After the resignation of Sobolevsky, according to the Chronicle. Media, he worked in structures related to the entrepreneur by the year of Nisanov and his classmate Ilgam Ragimov, and also received money from Uralkali, entrepreneur Dmitry Mazepin.
Putin had one more useful classmate-sylovic, but these events are long. We are talking about Yuri Vanyushin , who began his career together with the future president in the committee on external relations of the St. Petersburg City Hall, wrote the Fontanka publication.
After the mayor Anatoly Sobchak lost the elections, Vanyushin went to work in the Prosecutor General’s Office by an investigator for particularly important cases. It was he who was among those who were doing the case against the entrepreneur Vladimir Gusinsky and charged him. The loud ending of this story was the defeat of the NTV channel. Vanyushin, according to the Chronicle, died in the 2000s.
In the first presidential term, Putin became noticeable for another classmate - Vitaly Mozyakov . In 2001, he took the post of head of the Investigative Committee under the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia and the Deputy Minister of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Russian Federation. Later, in 2005, he went to work as an assistant to the head of the Russian Presidential Administration Sergei Sobyanin. His classmate Anichin came to the place of Mozyakov.

Mozyakov also flew to Altai in 2017. In addition, the “Media” chronicles is known that in 2021 he received about 150 thousand rubles. From the gold mining company Polyus, associated with the Senator from Dagestan Suleiman Kerimov. Then, in 2022, Mozyakov became a co -owner of the UK Minzhinering company. The company has a large state contract for work from Caucasus.rf JSC. This organization develops resorts in the North Caucasus, including in Dagestan. The republic in the Federation Council is represented by Kerimov.
The son of Mozyakov Kirill followed in the footsteps of the famous classmate of his father and works in the state security organs. His phone, according to the GetContact application, is recorded in different people as related to the management of the FSB of Russia. It is engaged in counterintelligence and counteracting corruption in the Ministry of Justice, the Ministry of Emergencies, the Supreme Court, the Prosecutor General, the Ministry of Internal Affairs, the IC and other law enforcement agencies.
Another sad celebrity was the son of a classmate Putin Arkady Yurzditsky Igor. He was an investigator in the case of the former vice president of the Yukos company Vasily Aleksanyan. He died in 2011 from a number of serious diseases. Some of them developed, while others progressed while Aleksanyan was in the pre-trial detention center in 2006-2009.

Arkady Yurzditsky himself, as a lawyer, defended his classmate Anatoly six in the court of his classmate. He in 2008-2013 led the Moscow department of the Federal Property Management Agency. After the resignation, the six was arrested . He was accused of kidnapped more than 100 real estate objects worth 10 billion rubles. This business did not end . Now the gear works as an assistant professor at the Department of Ecological and Land Law of Moscow State University.

The life of the law faculty Amiran Shamatawa has also been interesting for life. For many years he has been living in Georgia. President Eduard Shevarnadze in 2000 awarded Shamatava as deputy prosecutor of Abkhazia. In 2005, the Komsomolskaya Pravda newspaper said that Putin’s classmate really lives in Georgia. In 2016, the local edition of For.ge called Shamatav the former prosecutor recognized by Georgia of the Government of Abkhazia. In Russia, a full-a-a-a-a-a-a-a-a-a-a-aed -ions-the-a-a school a graduate in 2009, after the Georgian-Russian War of 2008, became the co-founder of the public organization “Committee of Veterans of Special Services”.
And one more representative of Putin’s security officials from abroad. We are talking about Lyudmila Tracknyankina . In 2000, Putin gave Russian citizenship to her complete namesake, which replaced the surname in Kerimi. Prior to this, Tracking Woman was a citizen of Turkmenistan. In 2005, the newspaper Komsomolskaya Pravda mentioned the classmate of Putin Lyudmila Tracos as a “prosecutor of Turkmenistan”. One of the classmates of the president confirmed the “chronicles” that it was a graduate of the legal faculty of LSU of 1975.

The most “difficult” lawyer from among the classmates of the president can be called Nikolai Egorov . It was he, according to his supervisor, professor of St. Petersburg State University Yuri Tolstoy , who introduced Putin to the mayor of the city Anatoly Sobchak. Thus began the political career of the current president. Egorov later became a co-owner of the legal company St. Petersburg Interdraid. Her controlling stake was at the City Hall Committee on External Relations, which was headed by Putin.

During the second presidential term of the classmate, the Egorov’s lawyer bureau “EPAM” defended the Russian special services employees in Qatar. The detainees were accused of the fact that in 2004 they killed the Chechen separatist Zelimkhan Yandarbiev hiding in the country.
When Putin was the Prime Minister of Russia, the Bureau of Egorov participated in the International Court of the UN in the Georgia against Russia case after the Russian-Georgian War of 2008. At the third presidential term, EPAM continued to provide services to the head of state. So, the lawyers of the bureau represented Russia in courts with the "daughters" Exxonmobil Corp. and Indian Titanium Products Private Ltd.
However, the most interesting thing is that Egorov’s employee by proxy was represented by an offshore, on which the famous building was recorded in Gelendzhik. It is known as the Putin Palace. During the third presidential term, the company's companies rented vineyards for the Palace and built a Winery. Also, together with other classmates, entrepreneurs Ilgam Ragimov and Viktor Khmarin Egorov sent money to build a “palace”.
Lawyers include the former wife of the chairman of the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation Alexander Bastrykin Natalya Bastrykin . She “became famous” in 2000, when she worked as the deputy chief of the police department to combat the economic crime of one of the regions of St. Petersburg. She was detained , accusing her of extortion. Allegedly, Bastrykina, along with colleagues, threatening criminal prosecution, demanded from one entrepreneur every month to give them a 50 percent discount on leather jackets. Journalists wrote that Bastrykin and his colleagues were detained right on the trading floor. There they chose new jackets for themselves. The case of a graduate of the legal faculty did not reach the court, but her career in law enforcement agencies ended.
Having disgraced Bastrykina founded the Andromeda security company. Then - the Oreon recycling company. In 2007, the lawyer headed the private St. Petersburg Legal University, which led until 2017. It is noteworthy that among the founders of this university there was “Black Notary” Sergey Vysmensets. “Chronicles. Media” said that he helped Putin's family improve the living conditions in the 1990s. According to journalists, the son’s son is the godson of Alexander Bastrykin. The trample appeared in the life of many fellow students of Putin - read more about this in the "graduation album" .
In 2012, Natalya Bastrykin presented the Bureau of Nikolai Egorova as an adviser to his Moscow office. True, they indicated her girlish name - Kuznetsova. In 2013, a seminar “Sudden visit: the methodology and tactics of interaction with law enforcement agencies” was held at the St. Petersburg office of the EPAM. Natalia Bastrykina as a professional in this case "highlighted the topic of grounds for conducting checks, and also gave practical recommendations for preparing for possible checks."
It is impossible not to say about another classmate of Egorov and Putin Alexander Afanasyev . He specialized in criminal cases. Glory was brought to him by the defense of the authoritative entrepreneur Mikhail Mirilashvili ( Misha Kutaisky ) and the former State Duma deputy Mikhail Glushchenko.

Mirilashvili was accused of abducting two people. Allegedly, he suspected that they had previously abducted his father. The case ended with the fact that the European Court of Human Rights recognized that the entrepreneur was pursued illegally.
Mikhail Glushchenko is known in the criminal environment as a crest or coach, the new newspaper wrote . In 2015, the court considered proven that the former parliamentarian organized the murder of the State Duma colleague Galina Starovoitova.
Alexander Afanasyev died in 2021.
Two other lawyers are less known. The first of them is Oleg Shmelev . In the 1990s he became one of the co-founders of the Russian-American law firm Amros Partner. Registered such legal entities of the St. Petersburg Committee on External Relations, which was headed by Putin. Radio Liberty described how such international organizations used scammers, enlisted the support of the committee.

However, then Shmelev for many years headed the Barrister’s advice and died in 2020.
Another classmate-lawn Putin is Alexander Lukovnikov . According to the Chronicle. Media, he was a co -founder of PEK. Another co -founder was the same “black lawyer” Sergey Vysmensets. Since the mid-1990s, Lukovniks worked as a notary right up to his death in 2010.

One of Putin's fellow students became an influential businessman. This is Ilgam (Ilgam) Ragimov . A classmate Leonid Polokhov recalled that Ragimov and Putin "not just talked, but were friends with houses." The brother of Ragimov Dzhangir in the early 1990s was a co-owner of the jikop. The joint venture is deciphered as a "joint venture." So called only the appeared legal entities with foreign capital. Putin registered them in St. Petersburg as the chairman of the Foreign Relations Committee.

In 1992, this, in particular, became the subject of the so -called “Salier report” . The St. Petersburg deputy Marina Salier claimed that some joint enterprises registered by Putin at broken prices or even for nothing were exported from the city of rare earth metals. In exchange, entrepreneurs were supposed to put food in St. Petersburg. In those years of economic shocks, the threat of hunger was by no means invented. So, metals left abroad, but no one received food.
This is what Salier herself told about Ragimov’s brother:
“In the Agreement of the Foreign Relations of St. Petersburg] with the KVS contract, the Jikop, which the same KVS issued a license for the export of 13997 kg of rare metals, the prices for most of them are underestimated by 7, 10, 20 and even 2000 times. Only at dumping prices in one agreement, and with only one company the city lost more than $ 9 million at the then rate. ”
As mentioned above, Ilgam Ragimov, together with classmates Egorov and Khmarin, transferred money to the construction of the Palace of Putin in Gelendzhik. And during the fourth presidential term, the quarry was already at the nephew of Ragimov. The son of his brother Dzhangira, at least from 2018 to 2021, worked at Gazprombank.
Less famous, but no less interesting is Kanshobi Azhakhov . After the university, he, as stated in one of his biographies, worked until 1990 in the Prosecutor's Office of Kabardino-Balkaria (KBR). Then, until 1991, he worked as an assistant to the chairman of the Supreme Council of the Republic. In 1992, he became a state council of the KBR for special assignments and control over the execution in the apparatus of the President of the Republic. From 1992 to 1997 he was a senior teacher at the Kabardino-Balkarian State University. In 2008, he elected from United Russia a deputy of the city of Baksan. In 2009, he became part of the Public Chamber of the Republic.

Back in 1990, Boom-Bank arose in the KBR. Azhakhov was able to become his largest shareholder. In 2018, the Central Bank withdrew the bank license for numerous violations. Including for money laundering. A classmate of Putin was arrested , suspecting multimillion -dollar fraud. Then Azhakhov was transferred under house arrest, and only a year later they released a recognizance not to leave. The European Court of Human Rights recognized in 2021 that in this case such a long arrest was illegal. Ironically, the year before his misfortunes, Azhakhov flew to the meeting of classmates on Altai. As can be seen from this story, the most influential of them did not help him.
Another classmate of Putin was built by the wrong thing as that of Ragimov, but a good career. We are talking about Igor Gazin . In 2011, he became deputy general director of Gazprom Export. In 2017, the top manager also flew to Altai.

And since it came to joint enterprises, it is necessary to recall the other classmate Putin - Tamaru Gavrilova . In the list of graduates of the legal faculty of LSU 1975, which was once posted on the university’s website, it is not. However, for example, the Kommersant newspaper called Gavrilov a classmate of the president.

But in the list of graduates was Tamara Sergeevna Shakhmatova. Her name and patronymic coincide with the data of Gavrilova. She, as the “chronicles” established, changed her surname after marriage.
