In the Chelyabinsk region, the family of Igor Kosimov, an employee of the Ministry of Internal Affairs who died in the war in Ukraine, received the body of another military man from the Tyumen region. This was reported by Verstov. Info" and 74.ru.

Kosimov’s funeral was supposed to take place on November 24 in the village of Rzhavka, Agapovsky district. The local administration stated that they will be postponed indefinitely.

“Unfortunately, a terrible mistake occurred - they brought us another person. At the moment, the police are investigating the circumstances of the incident. We thank everyone for their support during this difficult moment. As soon as something becomes clear, we will definitely inform you additionally,” the local administration quoted the brother of the deceased policeman as saying.

According to media reports, Igor Kosimov was a local police officer in the Agapovsky district of the Chelyabinsk region. He served in the Ministry of Internal Affairs for 20 years, after which he retired. Later, he signed a contract with the Ministry of Defense and went to war in Ukraine. The circumstances of his death are not disclosed.
