Putin allowed Oreshnik to strike “decision-making centers” in Kyiv

President Putin announced that the Russian Ministry of Defense and the General Staff are selecting new targets for attacks with the newest Oreshnik missile, and such targets could include “decision-making centers in Kyiv.”

“Kyiv has repeatedly tried to attack targets in Moscow and St. Petersburg... The Kyiv leaders are now completely illegitimate, they are usurpers and do not even have the right to give orders to the army,” Putin announced.

Russia launched 100 missiles at Ukraine in two days in response to Western missile strikes on its territory, Putin said. Just tonight they launched 90 missiles and 100 drones, hitting 17 military targets, Putin reported.

Putin's statements were made in Kazakhstan during a session of the CSTO Council, in the presence of the presidents of Kazakhstan, Belarus, Kyrgyzstan and Tajikistan.

Prime Minister of CSTO member Armenia Nikol Pashinyan announced that his country is “freezing” participation in the agreement due to threats to its sovereignty; he has not participated in CSTO events for the second year.
