The Russian political prisoner Alexei Gorinov was requested 3.5 years in a colony in the new case on the justification of terrorism. The reason for him was conversations with cellmates about Ukraine. It is reported by "Mediazona".

The former Moscow municipal deputy has already been convicted of seven years. According to the summation of the deadlines, the prosecutor's office requires that after the entry into force of the new sentence, Gorinov would leave for another five years.

In July 2022, Alexei Gorinov was sentenced to seven years in prison under the article on the spread of the so -called fakes about the Russian army. The case is connected with the policy of the politician at a meeting of the municipal council, during which the deputies, at the suggestion of Gorinov, declared a minute of silence in memory of the victims of a full -scale Russian invasion of Ukraine.

Gorinov also noted that all the efforts of civil society in Russia should be aimed at stopping the war. The human rights center "Memorial" recognized Gorinov as political prisoner.

The lawyers of Alexei Gorinov, who has a serious chronic lung disease, announced a significant deterioration in his state of health in the colony.

With a request to achieve Gorinov, dozens of existing and former deputies from the regions of Russia, as well as representatives of the medical community , addressed the authorities to provide the necessary treatment.
