The head of Free Russia was attacked in London – “Agency”

In November, the head of the Free Russia Foundation (FRF), Natalya Arno, was the victim of an attack in London, the Agency reports .

This happened immediately after Arnault’s meeting with businessman Mikhail Khodorkovsky. According to four journalists’ interlocutors, the attacker, riding a scooter, snatched the woman’s phone and shouted “Greetings from Nevzlin” in Russian, after which he disappeared.

Arno locked her device half an hour after the attack. However, two of her interlocutors received offensive messages that the head of the FRF herself did not write. She contacted the British police.

Arno confirmed to the Agency the fact of the attack, but refused further comments, citing the fact that an investigation was underway. Businessman Leonid Nevzlin told the publication's journalist that he did not want to talk to him. Khodorkovsky did not respond to the Agency’s requests.

Two of the publication’s interlocutors, familiar with the work of FRF, told the publication that during the year Nevzlin more than once demanded that the fund’s leaders “not cooperate with supporters of Alexei Navalny from FBK.”

The attack occurred four days before the opposition march in Berlin, held with the support of the FRF, the publication notes. There were no Khodorkovsky structures among its organizers.
