The track “Columbine” by Slava CPSU and Zamai is included in the register of extremist materials

The Russian Ministry of Justice added the track “Columbine” by Slava CPSU and Zamai to the register of extremist materials.

This was done by decision of the Primorsky Regional Court on October 1, as follows from the updated database of extremist materials of the Ministry of Justice.

As stated in the court decision, the lawsuit was filed by the first deputy military prosecutor of the Pacific Fleet. The department conducted an inspection jointly with the FSB department for the Pacific Fleet.

From the results of the examination, it follows that the track contains “signs of describing violent actions in the form of murders of students in educational institutions, justification or justification for the need to commit such actions and propaganda of the international youth movement Columbine.”

The court decision lists the Russian resources on which security forces discovered the Columbine track. As Novaya Gazeta Europe found out, all of these platforms removed the composition. In particular, she disappeared from Yandex Music.

At the same time, Columbine can still be listened to on foreign services, for example, Spotify and Apple Music .

In June 2022, the track was blocked by Rosmolodezh. Then the musicians removed “Columbine” from Russian streaming platforms, and on the rest they renamed it “Columbine”. The composition was released in 2018 and is a diss against “new school” rappers.

In February 2022, the Supreme Court granted the claim of the Prosecutor General's Office to recognize the non-existent “ideology” of the Columbine school shootings as a terrorist movement. In September 2022, the FSB reported searches of 187 supporters of the Columbine and Maniacs: Cult of Murder movements.
